The entire covid farce but especially the travesty of an enquiry, he and his cabal of mates should be in jail for this mess.
Red shirts.
Branch stacking, they all get up to it still doesn't make it legit. Gotta admit, as a pollie, he's done a brilliant job of obliterating all the other factions in the Labor party.
The ministers under his control constantly getting outed for rorting n cheating.
Tearing up contracts that weren't going to cost going to cost us anything while throwing a billion plus in the bin.
The lies over his pet tunnel that wasn't going to cost us anything extra while throwing another couple of billion in the bin.
The " political " manoeuvring and manipulation around restructuring of the fire brigade, dirtying of police command, allowing certain construction unions working advantages no other industry had during covid.
The constant redacting of and legal challenges to virtually every item of govt, departmental information. Nothing to hide, open the books n show the public a dept letter head followed by a blacked out page.

Old mate Dan's the smoothest n cleanest bit of teflon ever invented, but his fingers are in n over everything everyone in his party gets up to.

Nearly forgot. Old mate Dan's former offsider who's now in charge of Work safe somehow decides to investigate faceless govt depts regarding the covid fiasco while ignoring the basic tenet of chain of command responsibilities whereby all the people who had input into the control, training, management decisions leading up to incidents.
Corporate entities get investigated n can be held liable and accountable over major incidents from the bottom nuffer who's barely capable of tying their shoe laces, right through top management and owners. Obviously doesn't hold water when it comes to the cabal of Schultzies that controlled the covid fiasco.

If that makes me a Murdochist Balooga. I'll happily wear the badge, far less disgusting than genuflecting at the altar of Dan.

If you mean "top managers" are "held accountable" by paying them huge golden handshakes and watching them ride off into the sunset then yes, that does happen.

One by one:
the covid treatment is hardly evidence of criminal corruption just an unpreparedness for a pandemic;
red shirts has been examined by the police;
Scomo got into parliament via branch stacking, at least Andrews has taken action against it;
how many scandals have Morrison ministers been involved in; and
I assume the contract is over the road links which Andrews got into power opposing, he had a mandate.

And its not even remotely comparable to this which doesn't even include more recent activities such as the Tudge, Porter and Brittney Higgins stories:

Are you trying to give actual examples of rorting and cheating? That's not how it's done. Impressive list the LNP have racked up though.

The Feds are so corrupt.

As for the Red Shirts thing, gee, who'd have thought that publicly paid staffers for politicians did work to get their member and party elected? They all do it and it would need a lot of reform to stop this. It should be stopped but you might need, oh, I don't know, maybe an independent commission against corruption?

Pretty sure it was Dan who pushed in the rule changes to ensure that when work safe investigated incidents they have the power to hunt and prosecute right up the ladder to ensure management had included all the right training and safety measures throughout their organisation. Supposedly to stop the *smile* ant fly by nighters from taking the cash n *smile* off. It terrifies the managers of legitimate well run companies, because they can be held very liable for the stupidity of pea brained numpties.
Rules obviously won't be applying to any individuals running the public service depts or the Pollies who over rode the established systems.

Independent commission is already seriously underfunded by Dan n can't get half it's *smile* done properly. Strange that it's only investigating one faction that's been perfectly shut down by the by the national HO of the labor party n suddenly a heap of the Vic pollies that aren't affiliated with Dan's mob are all being pushed out in prep for the next election.
Red shirts was Dan taking things to an entirely new level of rorting the system, pitiful old Ashes the plod honcho didn't even want to know about investigating his boss n got forced into taking a quick peek with the lights turned off. Dan spent another heap of legalese cash trying to shut down enquiries n then handed back a fist full of cash.

Feds are politicians same as State, there all corrupt n dodgy as *smile*. I generally try to avoid to much regarding all of them. Personally reckon Dan's got em all covered from the last twenty years or so with his complete initial stuff ups over covid n the ongoing lies and manipulation n burying of information throughout.

Don't need to be criminal to be corrupt. It's one thing to be unprepared. It's entirely another matter to throw out the rule book n make up your own *smile* as you go along. While constantly bragging that you've done better at managing the *smile* ups while actually getting worse n worse. Then running an investigation costing millions of tax payer dollars that was nothing more than a sham. 20 months in and Dan's still death riding the legals to avoid providing any information to anyone regarding the entire fiasco.
red shirts has been examined by the police;
Barely peeked at while the lights were out, Ashes initially didn't even want to know about the possibility of his mate being involved in anything so scurrilous.
Scomo got into parliament via branch stacking, at least Andrews has taken action against it;
how many scandals have Morrison ministers been involved in; and
Already said they all do it, doesn't make it right or legit. Also mentioned that politically Dan's moved brilliantly to obliterate his right wing opponents.
I assume the contract is over the road links which Andrews got into power opposing, he had a mandate.
Did get a mandate, also promised that it wouldn't cost a cent, one and a half billion $ was close I suppose. Also spent two years spouting that his fancy shovel ready alternative road was under contract and again wouldn't cost us a cent n would still be finished on time. Guess one point nine billion $ and 3 years delay was also fairly close to the mark.

Guessing probably his billions of $ n thousands of extra covid beds that he would throw into a big empty shed somewhere when needed was almost another nearly close enough promise he never made or needed, coz he simply shut down all elective surgery but managed to retain enough space for the life saving stuff.
And its not even remotely comparable to this which doesn't even include more recent activities such as the Tudge, Porter and Brittney Higgins stories:
Slime balls on all sides of politics, there's always a handful of stories can be picked out.

Nah. Dan, he's got a long way to go before he rates mention in the same breath as Mayo.
Dan is a typical politician in that he pork barrels but there is a major difference between him/ Victorian ALP and the crowd up in Canberra.
Pork barreling has always happened but political parties are usually careful with it . They don’t want to make it so blatant that they can be attacked, usually they will use it for what really matters rather than a general pork barrelling way of governing. They are subtle about it so they can deny it happens and they have enough examples of providing funding to opposition areas to be able to defend it.
The current federal Government can’t be bothered with niceties like that. They just go for maximum pork barrelling without even trying to defend it ( the PMs own words- that seat must have a good local member) . They do this because they are so morally bankrupt as a government that they don’t think it is wrong, they just think it’s part of the spoils of being in Government.
I have seen pork barrelling first hand in Victoria and been in conversations about potentially utilising the politics of a geographical area to get projects up and I have seen that with both Liberal and ALP governments. It happens, we all know that.
SCOMOs crew have gone way beyond that.

Sure, "top managers" up and down the state are quaking in fear over Dan's tyrannical Worksafe legislation.

You've offered nothing showing it to be corrupt as a whole. You don't like the way he handled it, fine, that doesn't make it corrupt.

Slime balls on all sides of politics, there's always a handful of stories can be picked out.

You made the claim that Andrews was more corrupt than Morrison but there's far more examples of actual corrupt behaviour from Morrison's government than Andrews.

Worksafe legislation applies to every employer so I don't know where you get this idea. There are hundreds of examples of Worksafe investigating breaches in the public sector and plenty have been prosecuted

It's my experience that Managers put in safe working practices that reward them and penalise the worker.

The bosses get a big fat pay cheque, and the workers incentives/bonuses get reduced for any incident, even if it's caused by a contractor who's work performance/safety record is not part of the companies safe work performance program.

This is so dangerous for the ALP movement. Putting even more power in Dan Andrews pocket. No one will stand up to him within the party with this going on. So the talk of Andrews doing something about branch stacking is him taking out his biggest political enemies. No one from his side of the ALP have been taken out.

Martin Pakula who does a brilliant job as racing minister was also very close to being moved on.

Meanwhile Martin Pakula’s quotes today in the Herald Sun regarding the Greens wanting to ban all horse racing is absolutely brilliant.

Worksafe won't be investigating any of the individuals either pollies or dept heads over any of the decision making or management of the covid fiasco, just the general govt health dept n it'll whitewash with a general could have done better in implementing some of it's systems n strategies, drop a big tax payer fine for one dept to transfer to another dept. Then everyone will walk away happy that millions of dollars have n man hours have nicely been shuffled around in circles.
Private sector it's also very much supervisors, managers, trainers etc who can be individually prosecuted and gaoled over serious work place incidents.

He literally just told you that public sector managers can and have been prosecuted.

Covid is a public health issue more so than a worksafe issue - vaccine passports are one way that governments are trying to make sure that workers are protected as much as possible from Covid in the workplace but of course that's just "Dictator Dan" interfering in our lives right?

If individual managers and trainers have breached worksafe policies and practices then damn straight they should be prosecuted, whether public or private sector. We've all noticed you have nothing to say about the federally-run aged care homes where hundreds of people died - somehow that's Dictator Dan's fault too I guess.

Dan has moved to have a number of members of parliament un-preselected. Are there factional interests being taken into account in all of this? Of course there are. But those members were pre-selected as a result of branch-stacking. Now, branch stacking happens in all political parties, but when found out it is expected that the party takes action and I reckon we've all seen members of parliament who got their positions as a result of branch-stacking keep their seats. Imagine if he had left those members in place? The Hun would crucify him, but they will crucify him anyway no matter what he does, the Murdoch press is consistently a shill for the Libs.

If the Murdoch press scrutinised the right wing parties as much as they do Labor, ScoMo would have been out of a job ages ago.

Seeing as Dictator Dan n his special little emergency cabinet were the ones who *smile* up the entire initial covid response in Victoria n then of course couldn't remember a single thing about what or how *smile* happened. Perhaps we make a start there n then scrape up the rest of the *smile* as we go? No other state in Aust had a *smile* up near as bad as ours n it's been cover ups n excuses ever since.

Best thing they could do is run a full royal commission into the entire covid fiasco Aust wide n actually get a full understanding of who *smile* up what where n how, but that'll never happen because to many pollies n pubic servants would get ferociously reamed at all levels.
