Talking Politics

Yes typical of the left.

You guys have all the 'facts' until a debate ensures, and then you head for the hills.

A laundry list of US Democrat corruption plus whatever else you threw in there is not a debate. If you focused your ideas down to one coherent thing at a time you might get more takers.

you can't argue with conspiracy theorists. As I posted here or somewhere, you beat em on fact and they are completely oblivious. Its a pointless exercise. Facts, logic, evidence, its all out the window. You wouldn't know a debate if you fell over one.

I wonder if Gladys can recollect what she had for breaky?
Yup, her memory is as bad as the Victorian super cabinet that over saw the Hotel Quarantine fiasco. Not a real fan of Gladys anyway who is a Liberal light in my view!

The funny thing here is that i was posting on economics, and you guys have gone to Covid, but while we are on the subject, the argument someone posted in relation to most deaths being OF Covid is so far wrong it's not funny. Jen Osaki even adimtted that a few months ago. The stats show that 75% of deaths in the USA with Covid had at least 4 co-morbidities!

JUst admit you ain't up for the fight P!ssAnt

If you consider my posting history you'll realise that's probably not right, but with you it's a case of where in that long rambling screed of disconnected ideas do you start.

Narrow it down to a single point backed by argument/data and we can try again.

Really, do elaborate since you're so smart?
Where did I say I’m smart ?

I’ll tell you a story for one thing. Nearly 20 years ago I was living in Asia and I was good friends with a senior person in a US bank. That bank brought Bill Clinton to Asia as part of a world tour to do some lectures and Q&A. He spent 2 weeks in Asia and was paid USD 2 million. He did similar tours in Europe and South America. He has been doing a lot of that for many years and to be honest I’m surprised the Clintons are only worth $220 million.
Through links I have with the aid community I know a few people who worked in Haiti after the earthquake in 2010. By far the biggest donor to the Haiti response and the reconstruction was the Clinton foundation. They donated and spent many $ millions and still do. The evil persona of the Clinton Foundation is not well founded by what they have done, which is a lot.
The accusation that the Clintons funded the Steele dossier has not a shred of evidence. The accusation that some secret Clinton shenanigans through their foundation was on Hilary’s server has not got a shred of evidence.
I’m not here to defend the Clintons who have done plenty wrong but these things are not facts they are wild theories.
Bill Clinton is of course also the last US President to balance the budget which he did from 1998-2001 until George W got hold of it.
I can’t really be bothered with more except to say that in an earlier post you said Obama invented quantitative easing. That is also incorrect. Quantitative easing was first used by the Bank of Japan in the early 2000s and the phrase was coined by the German economist who advised them. It was used by the US fed in the 2008 crisis but it was also used extensively in the UK and Europe at the same time.
When you bang on about the left as if it is a club or even something that can be defined you are way off beam. The world is far more complex than little boxes for people to fit into.
I’m unsubscribing with Ant

I'm not on a dole queue Scotty, so i don't have the time to review everythnig.

Do you care to raise a counter argument or is that the best you've got?
Typos are fine. We all make them.

But if you can’t get basic things right, like the spelling of names, then you can’t be trusted on anything else you spew out.

murdoch isnt a kingmaker.

Hes a suckhole.

He creates the illusion hes the former, by working out who will win, and backing them.

Then it looks a bit like a self-fulfilling prophesy, but in reality, its Murdoch running 'go richmond' headlines leading up to Richmond V Gold Coast

He'll make the call on horrible psycho Morrison pretty shortly,

And it'll be Australia needs Albo

All the way.

Murdoch is the biggest *smile* in the world, and his wife has the most expensive pay-per-view *smile* in the world

nah man it will "Albo the commie" headlines all the way - death taxes, emmissions taxes, ute taxes and so on. Murdoch plays the long game, even minimising the loss of seats with the next election in mind will be a factor.

It will be interesting to watch unfold.
