Talking the Talk!

I will back Meyer he hasnt fired up yet but the kid is a player .

Putting him in with Schulz and Krakouer is ridiculous, the kids only been at RFC 2 years whereas Krakouer and Schulz have been at the club for 5 and 4 years.

meyer has shown nothing more than a potential flashy flanker with good skills

yet to see him win his own ball or lay an effective tackle

a classic downhill ski er in my opinion

And I think all good teams need one or 2 quality down hill skiers.
I know Craig Bradley gets bagged for never getting the hard ball, but he was damn good at what he did, receive, run and kick well.

And on Tambo, Kingy was telling us Tuesday night that he thinks Bling is 2 years away from his best. That's not to say he won't have a good 2007. He also added that he thinks the Indiginous boys take a few years, from when they are 18, to peak. Remember Aaron Davey is now 23, turning 24 during the season. His last few seasons have been great, but he wasn't good until 21.
And McAdam didn't come to the Kangas until he was about 21. What Kingy was saying is that they may take a bit longer to come good.

Wasn't Meyer's 07 season ended by injury when he was beginning to establish himself as a regular senior selection?

Hope that's not in your crystal ball Carn. ;)
I'm getting old, Rosy, after a while the years just kind of merge together :old

Krakouer has clearly improved his fitness base. He has lost weight noticably.

He's lost weight??? There wasnt much of him to begin with!!! He needs to put on weight. Namely muscle.

If he's lost weight as you say Redford, he must look like one of those long distance runners from Kenya!! ;D

From what I saw in the indigenous game he just looks a lot fitter.
