Tambling - Minor Ankle Sprain

Re: Tambling - Knee Injury

If it had been a regular season game they would have strapped it and sent him back out.

Would that be wise? other than during a Grand final? Isn't this how blokes get run into the ground and virtual cripples by 30 years old?

Whatever they do down there with Ritchie I hope they err on the side of caution as our recent record handling ankle injures has been highly questionable.

Has been since Knighter did his all those years ago. Remember him hobbling round the park like a draught horse for weeks on end.

OK, what I hear from someone high at the club is that Tambo only rolled the ankle and will be right to train after a few days off (maybe a week max). If it had been a regular season game they would have strapped it and sent him back out.

:phew

It might not be wise DDT, but they'd still do it. In Richmond's defence they're far from the only team in the AFL that do.

I was in the rooms at training one night when knighter had his ankle injury. He hobbled in as though he couldnt raise a gallop. Into the trainers room( for a jab or two). Half hour later, he's out spinting on the spot and down the race and onto the track.
Amazing what these guys do even just to get up for training.
No wonder he was hobbling around like a draft horse Gus!!

Shouldn't be giving players jabs at this time of the year, it will hurt the player and the club in the long term. let him get over it with rest ,a couple of missed sessions wont hert now but they sure as hell will in the middle of the season !

What's the latest on the Blingsta? Has he recovered from his injury? Has the club given him the week off or has he been training with the Workcover Rehab group?

I'm getting goosebumps just thinking what sort of damage the Blingsta can do this year.
