I think the Bulldogs really stuffed up in picking Griffen before Tambling in the 04 draft. They had the chance to pick up Tambling, but let him go for Richmond to snaffle him, very gratefully, at pick 4. Griffen was pretty ordinary tonight, often getting caught with the ball, as well as many kicks not hitting targets. In short, he looked scared and unskilled.
And while I'm at it, how stupid were Hawthorn in picking Roughead before Tambling? I mean, Roughie can't even get a game in the firsts.
