lovley evening to you all remember my words griifen will outdo brett in the long run.

U are kidding urself if you really believe that bbb, griffen will be good i have no doubt about that but he wont hold a torch on lids....
what are you going to show me stats :rofl griffen has a crop of players around him who will learn more than what lids will. will be stronger than lids and doens't have boys around like krak tiv hyde and petiffer. lids will be good but not as good as griffen

Griffen probably won't get too many more chances on Lids. Too embarrassing for the scragger.

He'll get Polo. The bloke that flogged him as an U18. Unless Polo has bigger fish to fry (likely).

Well put Dyer'ere

a very eduacted prediction dyer but let me remind you griffen aint looking the scraggy type any more the stakes have bee raised i'm not taking anything away from polo.

Griffen is a much more mature player, IMO. Seen plenty of him. Just keeps going. Nice user but he gets plenty of space. (Cooney gets the guy who'd play on Deledio.)

Deledio is immature and has pantsed Griffin one on one. But he only runs one way.

For now.

Deledio- you ain't seen nothin' yet.

:phew

Good enough for 16 AFL clubs to pay close attention to, but I guess that's beside the point. I'm sure most people would rather believe a baseless prediction from an anonymous internet guy.

Out of curiosity how many times have you watched Griffen roughly and what exactly makes you say he'll definitely be better than Deledio despite the fact Deledio hasn't even turned 20 and you really have no idea at all how far he'll develop in the next year or two?

As usual straight to the point Disco.

If Tambling plays the next 4 years (including this year) the way he did tonight then this thread will outdo the Krak thread.

One burst of brilliance all night paid the piper, not good enough, he need to show guts to contest hard ball, needs to run much, much harder to make space, and needs to learn how to kick.

He will be wasted draft pick.

With the pace he is meant to have, why doesn't he put pressure on the ball carrier and tackle, instead of just jogging along behind. Carlton pressured us at every opportunity, that's what creates opportunities.

BINGO.

No heart, these players have no bloody heart!

I just don't get what others see in Tambling. He is the classic down hill skier for mine; cannot win the ball himself, cannot break a tackle, goes to ground too easily, shocking tackler and not that fast either. In a 50-50 scenario I start looking for the player his opponent will give it off to.

I must be missing something with this bloke.

I reckon there are 10 others I would have in front of him from the 2004 draft who were taken later - Franklin, Lewis, Bate, Dunn, Wood, Rosa, Polo, Thompson, Monfries, Van Berlo, Sherman - all seem to have a more all rounded game and in a couple of cases a far bigger upside.

Franklin and Wood have massive upsides in particular,

I honestly point the finger at our leadership. We just don't have a winning mentality at the top.

These guys were no brainers at their draft pick number. They would likely be starring at other clubs.

What the hell is going on at Richmond that we can't develop star players?

Spot on Toots , the RFC has never been any good fostering talented kids and developing them, also havent been any good at drafting many either ;)

Two names that will haunt me for next few years McKenzie and Mitchell Brown both drafted by WCE key possie players at 195 cm CHF and FB and we coulda had either of em, both are apparantly burning early over in WA and Spangher also back from injury and going well to.

Sad but true. Particularly the second paragraph.

Tambling was a sensational tackler and extremely hard at it as a junior, buggered if I know what happened. I don't blame our recruiting at all, Tambling had the runs on the board as a junior. No matter how scientific and objective we are on the draft table we will never be perfect-it is pointless to think that we will be. If anyone from that draft was going to be flaky most would have picked Franklin to be soft not Tambling.

I saw a bit of the Brisbane-Dawks game. Wood is going to be very, very good with another two years to fill out he will be elite. Franklin was millimetres away from taking mark of the year, if he had some help from thier midfield he would have kicked six goals.

Man, I really must have been watching a different game...I thought Tambling wasn't too bad tonight... :-\

I've got issues with my head, clearly...

Must be all the negative energy floating around.

I'm off to bed, carry on. Hopefully this place fixes itself by tomorrow...

Quite simple ToO. Losing club = losing culture. They just don't have the balls to break the cycle.

For the first time in my life, im glad I missed a beer after the game with you Todd Ridley

Your well placed venom and vitriol is scything new heights tonight old son!

I think more then anyone on our list, if Bling can have a match winning game on Sunday Tiger fans will sleep very very well Sunday Night

Is a match winning game the same as the way he played in the second half against the Pies in Mildura? ;D

He is gonna have to lift his workrate, and his gut running........

Is that a sarcastic comment tb? ;D
