Like alot of people on this site i had small doubts on Bling last year.I know it was just early days but he looked like he did'nt want to be at Tiigerland.
But this season he has been fantasic. Not that i like comparing,Lids has been great but he has not had a game of the quality of Tambo.
The game Tambo had at skilled was almost flawless his vision is magic and the way he is moving must be making all Tiges weak at the knees.
GO TAMBO!!

GO TAMBO!!

I watched him on the weekend and not only is he a little arrogant but he also has a bit of agro in him. He told a few PussyCatKitties (is that right Nitro :hihi ) a thing or two after he beat them. Good to see!! Keep it up Tambo.

:clap :clap :clap

He seems to have some belief in himself now, and is prepared to take the game on rather than simply dish off to a more senior player.
Richo again was seen to really encourage Ritchie on the weekend when he delivered him a beautiful pass. Matthew's terrific in that respect making the youngsters feel welcome.
There seems to be a really healthy comraderie amoug the playing group ATM and I think Richie's getting more comfortable with each outing.

Michael Long allegedly said on SEN last year that Richard Tambling has the ability to be the best Aboriginal player to play the game.

Agree that he had a good game and I am really pleased to see him improving but he still needs to go far harder at contests and actually put his head over the ball on regular occassions. If he does this a few times and doesn't get hurt hopefully he will get the confidence to make it a feature of his game. When starts doing this he will become even more valuable.

I think in time he will put his body on the line many times but for now i think he's better off leaving that to others more physically ready. In fact im sure i saw him dig in on the weekend at times (but then i might of had my polarised tambo glasses on 8). Im confident he'll do so in time just a bit of patience needed.

Many people on here were scathing of his selection in the draft and hounded him last year. Even now that things look on the up its still not enough time to judge his overall game. Sure we can philosphize on his future and comment on his current form etc but it really still isnt enough time to make a accurate indication of how is game is overall.

When are some people ever gonna learn that you need to give juniors 3, 4 even 5 years (for the talls) before you can start mounting a case for or against them. Just seems absurd to write a junior, any junior off in their first 2 years yet many seem to regularly do it and no doubt will continue to do so.

Obviously these people seem to think they know more about junior footballing methodicalism than more seasoned employee's within the club  ::)

He's made rapid progress on this front in the past month.
