we had picks 18 and 19 at one stage both lads would have been nice. pears rance and gourdis with a kpp or 2 in the the rookie draft now that would have been doing something about our kpd deficiencies and we wouldnt be putting all our eggs in one basket so to speak.

Pears was barely sighted and made a few blues. Has to be expected in his first game, but didn't provide much to comment on tonight.

Bombers have a 100% losing record with this kid in the side - time to cut their losses and play someone who will improve them not keep them mired in mediocrity. Fair dinkum how many chances does this kid need - had the a whole pre season to get to get his game going, the big stage, the big build up and fizzled like a damp squib.

Dud - Bombers should just fess up and admit they wasted pick 19. Out of humility and class we as tiger supporters should not gloat about doing better out of this deal!

Watched him in particular. Lovely tap on to a running teammate from a mark contest, delightful handpass thru traffic over ten metres to teammate running past, lovely kick over players to teammates advantage deeper and in the clear.

Good decision-making, nice skills, quick thinking under pressure.

With this rap it looks like one of the best debut's ever! Not bad for an 8 possession game (6 uncontested) with a Free Agst and a clanger, although 4 assists were good.

Just reading this rap, I think Carlton may have made a mistake going with Kruezer and probably 16 other teams after that!

Let's just wait until Rance recovers and develops before being too harsh on him, particularly after one 'so-so' debut.

Just remember Sanchez cost the Tigers the chance to grab this kid or Selwood.

Nice debut from the lad, craig. But we can be pretty confident that even though he was popular with ya good self, Redders and a couple of others we weren't taking him. The scoop on Selwood is almost certainly accurate isn't it?

Agree, RT. Clean gets with very smart composed use by hand. Remains to be seen whether he'll be athletic enough to have a big impact but he looks like a footballer.
