Team changes v north

The crucial part of this game is the North rebound.

Everytime we play them they get out the back.

I hope Dimma has done his homework.

Going on recent encounters...he never has!

turnover down back...North run up and over our press and woop de doo...same bat channel :-[ :-[ :-[

i agree with BLX. this game is a benchmark of sorts for Dimma and Co. if they haven't learned something from what the Roos have done to us in the past i will be very disappointed. we are a good chance tonight.

If our midfield does not have a blinder tomorrow night then we are in trouble. Serious trouble. They will expose us down back for height. The one who Batchelor goes to will have a field day.

We must smash them in contested ball and get them on the outside.

And FFS do not let them play with a loose man down back.

Agree Tigers gotta go man on man right from the start & get in front.

Razor Stevic there tonight ?. Hope not as Rueboys are somewhat umpires pets.

NORTH MELBOURNE coach Brad Scott will not coach the Kangaroos against Richmond tonight after being hospitalised with a viral illness.

Scott was admitted to hospital on Thursday night after feeling ill while driving to the airport to board a flight to Hobart with his team ahead of the landmark clash to be played under lights at Blundstone Arena.

He spent the night in a Melbourne hospital.

“Brad was not feeling well on his way to the airport yesterday and was forced to return home,” North Melbourne football boss Geoff Walsh said.

“His condition worsened in the evening and he was attended to by the club doctor before being admitted to hospital for treatment and observation.”

Assistant coach Darren Crocker, who stood in for Scott between Rounds 11-14 after he had back surgery last year, will coach the ladder-leading Kangaroos in Scott’s absence.

They're coming out with excuses already. Roos are going to be roadkill tonight

Geez, I bet they still win, even without a coach

As much as they've had the wood on us, feeling really positive bout tonight, we'll win and doesn't matter if Scott coaching or not, on some of the players goldstein wont play, and jacobs and hansen both out who in the past have played well against us.
Contain Petrie (Astbury) and Waite (Rance) and that will be another stepping stone to winning....

These past games have shattered my faith
Keep the faith, mate... Mine is bulletproof, having stood the test of time.
With Scott out, the Rooboys will be like a ship without a rudder. Hope Crocker puts in a shocker!
Always had a positive feeling about tonight. Things are falling into place already.

When a team is traveling 9-1 this should not really impact the result. When Bolton stepped in a few times with Clarko out the hawks the won every game. When you have a quality team and good mature leaders (as North do) this will no impact the group once the game starts.

Razor on the job tonight with his tin whistle. Only ump I know who has eyes in the back of his head. Prefer the Padre's stronger body than Aspro's.

Goldstein out.

Yep, find it really hard to read the Hampson - Daw match-up. His speed, contested marking and mobility might even favour Daw. Hampson might only win at CBs. This could be the perfect game to rest big H and go with Griff main ruck, TV as support.

According to Lamby, this would increase our effectiveness at clearances and around the ground.

Certainly might be right game to try it; especially if wet or windy.
