Team for this week / schulz rodan white [Merged]

I don't mind that players have to kick the door down to get into a winning side.

Taylor did much of the rucking last week. Campbell played key back. If you drop Stafford that frees them up two rucks. If you keep him in, that leaves Simmonds against Taylor (we might go okay there ;)) and Stafford on Campbell.

If they don't play a tall on Stafford he might have a good day himself.

Don't forget Patto.Should see plenty of the on ball work especially as Spider isn't playing.

Might get Brennan or maybe Dawson if he comes in.

Someone's going to get a soft matchup, mo'.

That's all well and good Jack but some players currently in the seniors have been given a lot of rope where as others are being made to earn it the hard way.
Sarge has done everything asked of him at Coburg the last fortnight. His performance should have been rewarded with an opportunity IMHO.
With Richo due to return back aftrer the break, it appears a wasted opportunity to see how Sarge would go up forward.
This season isn't just about winning surely. It's about seeing how players go in certain roles and it seems to me Jay's been shafted a bit here.

Im with you ToO...i thought it was a perfect opportunity....dont rule out a late change though ;)

I wouldnt worry too much, Sarge is in our best 22 any day of the week IMO...he will come back as a defender for the COllingwood game i reckon.

Keep it together boys and girls.

The power of knowledge at our club is to be respected.

They have runs on the board and access to information we could only dream about. Keep the faith and trust their judgment.

The players we want in, and out of the team will come with time. The coaching staff will ensure this.

Don't worry for now. Just be patient.

RT.

I'm very disappointed that Schulz is not in this side.

One of Pattison or Stafford should have been dropped.
Patto was told early in the week that he was not in the side and would be staying home .
Then the Brains trust heard that spider was out , so they said we will go tall for the game . This is fact from the boy himself .

Thanks for the scoop, zacs.

On the Sarge, I'll be very happy to see him nursed back from that AC rupture. They take twelve months to recover (as much as they will) and he's a lot less likely to re do it at Coburg than he is at AFL level.

Patience.

Schulz has done well at VFL level and that's great, but a couple of weeks off following that injury won't do him any harm and will allow him to continue his recovery. He'll play seniors before the end of the year and he could be a very handy return in the 2nd half of the season.

But most people wanted to see what he could do in the forward line without Richo, its too late after the break because most likely Richo will be back.

3 words: five year plan.

Terry hasn't spent 2 years turning Shulz into a backman just to throw him into the forward line at every spare opportunity. We have plenty of adequate, uninjured forwards.

We have a relative lack of tall, skilled, uninjured backmen. That's where Shulz is going to play when he comes back against the tall Collingwood forward line.

Then he should be playing there with Coburg.

:blah
Then why has he played at FF for Coburg the last two weeks?

Isn't it obvious this guy has tremendous forward skills?

A fantastic game for a midfielder would normally entail more than 20 possessions. A fantastic game for a forward would similarly entail more than 2 goals. On these conservative bench marks Krak hasn't played two consecutive "fantastic games" in his career let alone this season.

Last week 15 possessions and 3 goals
This week 23 possessions and 2 goals

Congrats on two consecutive "fantastic games" a career first. Whats more Demie says he has pace!!!!!
