We haven't had one of those for awhile...... Probably overdue I'm sure there's some talent we've missed since the last poll :smiledevil

Wouldn't really be happy if our blokes were trying to give each other black eyes. Heck our guys don't even stand up to an opposition player, if they want to show some fight take it out on an opponent not your team mate.

Don't like the notion, mld. Fighting amongst a playing group is almost always divisive. Leads to dichotomy. Not good.

After reading about the two Carlscums punching on at training last week it got me thinking what it would take to have any of our players so emtoionally invlved in training that they got in a fight with each other. I just can't picture any of our list caring enough to fire up at training. Does anyone think it would be a good thing if after one of our many losses and a tough training drill a couple of players got stuck into one another?

So this is the solution to us winning games then. Players punching the living suitcase out of each other. Rigggghhht.

Nothing wrong at all with team-mates punching on at training. In my playing days, there were often flare ups during competitive work and intra-club practice matches. If I was focused and committed during training, and someone gave me a cheap shot, I'd return it...didn't matter who it was. Once we were separated, we'd shake hands, then have a beer and a laugh about it after training. Sheedy once said it was commonplace at Richmond training sessions during the 70s.

I thought it already happens regularly at Tigerland.It seems like everytime I see Pettifer out on the ground he seems to be sporting a black eye. It definately doesn't happen during the game with him .
