Thanks, Mikee. Edwards played on Sewell, an inside mid and the current B&F at Hawthorn. Not Poonce Bateman.

And he is 19yo. You're either for youth or your against it. 19yos in the middle is full on youth.

If Wallet had dropped Edwards and kept Polo I would have gone mental. (I mean, more mental.) Not that that was ever on the cards. Getting tough gigs is a sign of the esteem of the panel. It is rewarded not punished.

Now, to business. Seems like a long time since I sniveled about that leper Morton. ;D He wasn't dropped although he full earned it a dozen times over. Despite this lack of warranted punishment he bounced back. Credit to all.

But there's a lingering problem. Jack thinks it's just dandy to play Christian on the forward line - that is to love the shepherd. He's bludging. Wants a rocket. Sure he makes a few token runs after the shadows of opponents but then some nasty man gets in the way and he says, "Oh, a shepherd, nothing indeed shall I want". And quits.

That's why we should have persecuted the sh!t out of Morton at the time. Because bludging spreads like superstition. We should have fed that bastard to the lions before his ideas caught on.

You can't stamp this sort of thing out with diplomacy or tokenism. You kill em all or you join em.

On form, leaving structure and youth policy aside, Jack was fully in the gun this week. But hey, he's been learning from Morton. That's what happens when you spare the trident and starve the lions. I don't blame the prophet Morton for this. I blame Pontius Wallace.

Let's see how Jack fights back. Maybe it's just a minor fad and nothing will come of it. Maybe Wallet was right to seek a diplomatic solution. Pfft. It'll all be forgotten in a couple of thousand years.

Leysy dunno what ya on about half the time, spesh this tima night... but that was a toff ova rant there jack.

Even I'd have taken 2/1 about the best five furlong galloper in the hemisphere (at her best), maybe the world at her favourite track, jb. And against midweek company. Yayzoo.

I'll cop that Morgan whatever and one more in that leg. It's quaddie or bust tomorrow. It's an easy get or I'm wrong. I'm very used to one of those options.

And Leyser, it never occurred to me that that post would be intelligible. :rofl I can't tell. And I'm cooking up a new Sarge rant. You'd never think I was a fan of his work. ;D
