Team v Fremantle

Wow so when can he play? Does that crazy Jacinta decide?
Compared to other footballers who have broken laws, this is unfair on us and Balta's family. Why the *smile* was that footage released!!! Should've stayed private. What the hell do these idiots all want as his sentence won't be a jail term. You can imagine more furore against us and him after April 22.

If Balta is playing VFL, then the club hasnt buckled to anything.

Different story if he's not playing at any level. In which case I'd be disppointed with the club (which in no way condones Balta's actions).

Postcript from club website: just online now

“Noah will return through our VFL team this weekend given the time he has spent out of the game,” Richmond General Manager – Football Performance, Tim Livingstone, said. “This is purely a football decision that we have made to ensure Noah builds important match conditioning before returning to AFL level.”

Fair enough I say.

Lalor Armstrong have caught the soft tissue bug
Hoping they are just being rested.

Harry especially must be feeling tired and sore after a month of combative senior footy straight out of his first pre-season.

Postscript from club website just online now:

Harry Armstrong will miss Sunday’s clash due to a suspected hamstring injury following a collision today at training. The key forward will be scanned tomorrow, with the Club to provide a further update next week. Sam Lalor (hip) will also miss the trip to the Barossa after pulling up sore from last Saturday’s game.

Armstrong liked to have done something towards the end of the match last week. Thought it was just cramp.

Let's face it ......

We finally learn that this is all smoke and mirrors - and whilst it's fun (as supporters) to offer an opinion on who should be in/out - the reality is that we don't have a clue and nor does it matter.

- The two OUTS (Armstrong/Lalor) were not mentioned in any way after the game or the ink still drying RFC Injury Report
- Balta not playing AFL was always a 50/50 and I'll take the club on face value that it had nothing to do with media pressure (but it's still disappointing because not selecting him plays into the media narrative - that they influence outcomes.

The final team will be announced tomorrow

In the meantime no use speculating about anything (because ultimately speculation serves zero purpose)
