I reckon it's a combination and while I'm a Coggo lover, I don't mind him being rested this week.

He's played 3 or four games after a 2&1/2 year lay off. A trip to Perth and a big, hard ground provides an ideal time for a week of recovery.

He looked tired last week and played accordingly. He'll be better for the week off.

spot on

Betcha 5 bucks he plays little or no game in the twos this week. Regardless of form, he is due a rest.

I'll have a crack at the 5 bucks hutty.

Happy that Thursfield is back in the side, hopefully someone will pull him to one side and give him a lift by telling him he's got everything to gain and a fair bit to lose.

Cogs out fair enough give his legs a break, Cousin's back in so now we've got a midfielder that can deliver the ball to the forwards properly.

Why isn't Graham playing Ruck, we've got the DUD Simmonds doing it yet again.
Graham was out last week with hammy tightness, perhaps its a bit worse than the medico's first thought.

Riewoldt back in so the forward line now looks to have a bit of structure. At least they have'nt rushed *smile* back in leave him where he belongs with the Burgs.

The Tigers may win this game due to their pace, but both teams are pretty messy, it will the team that attacks the ball the hardest and manages to find a way to score thru their forward 50, I reckon a lot of flooding will happen in this game, it will be pretty messy. To be honest I'd rather they did well for 3 quarters then tanked to make sure they lost it for draft purposes.

Not sure if our medicos enforced our team to wear face masks, I know Perth is long flight and having it on would eventually get uncomfortable but their health is more important than inconvenience.

Does anyone know if any of the emergencies travelled to Perth. All were named in Coburg side so assume the 22 is unchanged.

I beleive at least Jon travelled to Perth and the conversations overheard between him and the coaching staff might indicate he is playing. I was told discussion related to his leading up around the 50m. Take from that what you will.

Given the Dockers were exposed during the week, we should leave the masks on when we go on the ground. ;D
