No change for us i wouldnt think but i would like Edwards or Collins to be given a game.
For the pies IN: Egan Out: Nicholls. They could play Bryan but he got reported in the VFL so not sure if he will get suspended or not.

Also i think we should tag Heath Shaw.

Maybe Tag Shaw with Polo?
Yeah Polo would be my first choice.

Looks like no Simmonds or Brown this week again. Me thinks we are in trouble no decent players to come back Simmonds will return soon but will be underdone for about 4 games. Brown from the word around might not come back at all. In my mind we are looking at 0 wins by round 7.

Probably the two best players on our list and we can't get them on the park. :frustration :brickwall

What sort of offering do we make to these injury gods?

Simmonds most likely won't play.

Refer to RFC website for what it's worth: http://richmondfc.com.au/Season2007/News/NewsArticle/tabid/6301/Default.aspx?newsId=40908

I'd love Brown to play but I think they'd be pretty careful given the terrible run he has had.

My guess is that there will be no change basically because there is nothing to bring in. That is really frustrating.

Only real consolation is that McGuane, Pattison, Tambling will continue to get games they need.

The discussion around Meyer - until I saw most of the last Coburg game I was in the "yeah, try him out in the ones" camp. But he had absolutely zero influence on the game. Hartigan would be more likely to come in for a small forward. Maybe JON for a defender.

Geez they *smile* me off, so much crap talk! What happend to Simmonds right to play round one, and now he isnt likely back till round 5 or later(after playing a game or two in vfl)

I agree not to bring him back too soon because he is a great player but that spin talk prior to every round is %&$#@* >:(

The same goes for Brown, when is he going to be back? ::)

Agree TE I don't read injury reports cause everything that has been reported at the Tigers is just crap!!!!!! Will just wait to see who runs out on the day. ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Imagine if there was honesty ... in Feb, the marketing department announce that our #1 Ruckman/Big Guy/Main Muscle has mangled his ankle and we'll be lucky to get him on the park before the half-way mark of the season... .our #1 star (apologies to Richo) is still suffering from his broken leg and might not be back until the race is over; All this open and honest announcments, along with the news that the new 'gun forward' recruit from GeeBong has mangled something and #1 midfielder done his knee again and is gone for the season - our Membership would be at North Melbourne levels... :help No, in the Marketing dept's mind, Feb-March is the time of hope when we're training the house down and everyones looking fitter, stronger, faster and smarter :o than before... not an injury ravaged rabble ::).

The best players for Coburg on the weekend were Jackson, Edwards and Hartigan. JON was OK.

Jackson could be a chance to replace Howat- drop a classy player who is struggling to get a kick and replace him with a guy who can get a kick but has average disposal.

Edwards might play but I think Jackson might just be a shade ahead.

Hartigan's disposal is worse than Jackson's. Is he a better bet than Krakouer? Maybe.

Players injuries don't follow a set pattern, ie done a hammy, out for 4 weeks. The club would base announcements on the information available at the time. Do you all think they mislead us deliberately? They would also want our players back as soon as the player is available, because they want to win games as much as all of us. They don't have a crystal ball in to the future to see the results of putting someone back on the field.

Injuries are not that predictable. There is the risk of complications post surgery - compartment syndrome post surgery on a fracture for example, like Matt Maguire last year. There's also the player factor, eg Brown wanting to get back ASAP, and often needing to be held back for their own good. Plenty of examples in the past of players saying they ore OK when they're not.
