Team vs. Sydney

Didn't think there would be a change, What about Richo?
Is he gonna play?

Your guess is as good as mine. Although Richo was out there today he gingerly participated in the hitout, as shown on the box. I think if our champion was right he would of been jumping out of his skin participating heavily in training. As people have said, any withdrawals from the Coburg match will more likely mean a late withdrawal from the Richmond side.

The key to winning is for Gus & Patterson to play the game of their lives and our running brigade to run for 120 minutes.

beating the swans has not been one of our habits over the years and it will not change this time around , another cricket score looms for the swanies , regardless if " kick it to me" plays or not

This Canadian kid the Swans are playing as second ruck is an interesting guy

He is an amazing athlete, easily the fastest 200cm+ player in the AFL. Question is can he read where the funny shaped ball is going when the pressure is on in a game.

surely him 1 on 1 with roberts thompson in the square he could kick 3 or 4 injured. if he was fit maybe 7 or 8. Roberts thompson is a goof

presti is a goof and rarely gets beaten, LRT is a very similar type of goof. Richo on his day can kick 7-8 on anyone so it more depends on how richo plays rather than how his opponent plays. Richo did his knee at the SCG in 95 but also has his 2nd PB of 7 goals up there so a mixed bag for him which is no surprise and hopefully the latter repeats itself.

Raining in Sydeny tonight. Hopefully it will continue till game day tomorrow.
Swans don't play well in the wet and the last time we beat the swans in Sydney was in the rain.
We might have a chance

Was at that game in 2004, Richo kicked 7 after returning from a hammy.

Frawley's gameplan suited the wet :-X

Some of Richmond's more woeful Wallace performances have been in the wet, I don't think it bodes well for us at all if it's raining.

wallace's performance, what about the 22 drips who went out and didnt put there head over the ball.
although there arent many genuine wet weather games anymore i agree with se7en about our wet weather game, we flogged the pies in the wet a few years back, beat brisbane up there. other than that i dont really think we hav played in many, wet games generally makes us move the ball quicker and longer unlike the mothod we use the majority of the time that causes us to lose.

Both Crows games and one Cats games were wet last year, we got flogged in all. Maybe that would have happened anyway. We seem to be agreeing that the Wallace high possession gameplan doesn't seem to work well in the wet. Sure you can adjust you play but still if you've played one way all year it's hard to change style

good pick up, forgot about that geelong one, 1st one i dunno being wet but was def cold day, 2nd one against crows was wet but as u said we wouldve got flogged in those games most likely anyway.
i also gotta agree that the way we r playing it doesnt really matter what the weather does, hopefully we turn up and do whats expected of any player and put our bodies in there and get the pill.
