Teams vs. Bulldogs

Is this an AFL phenomenon where supporters in the course of a season are pleading for their team to lose?

I'm trying to imagine the meltdown if the Tigers win :clap while McMuffin plays a blinder :o

What happens then ;)

Just thought I would post the Bulldogs team, so we can see how well matched we are aren't against them down back... talk about killed for speed - if we line up even remotely like the listed team.

McMuffin!
So TW gets his dream of having Browny & McMuffy chairing him off after the final siren :vomit

Just when Bling starts to show something off half back....they bring back McMahon...and list Bling on the half-forward line....FFS! >:(

Can't believe I'm saying this but I certainly hope not. A win doesn't do us a lot of good this weekend.

You dont need to hope. Just bet. On the Dogs.

Don't know what is going on with Angus

just saw 9's late news and they showed the boys training
Gus tries to bomb a goal, surely he wouldn't be doing that if he was injured
and if he ain't injured why ain't he in the team?

Any ideas?

Brown and White are no losses to the team but Nahas is. Damn upset he's injured. Can't wait for Graham to get back in place of Simmonds.
Cogs really needs to work on his disposal, and needs to think a little quicker on the field if he's to keep his spot.
Really hope he can turn things around.

What can i add that hasnt already been said about THAT side.

Its like Wallace wants his BELOVED DOGS to smash the living daylights out of , who is a coach of?, that rights , Richmond. At $500k a year , $2.5 million not bad hey?

That side i am afraid will get SMASHED. Run off its legs. I hope i am wrong and its not a protest from the players who may have seen Terry's interview on the Footy Show and the fact he wants this game over with. Well Terry it might be over very early and you can have an early night. You already have packed up your office last night, another good sign. Get in early i say so you dont have to be back at the club after the Tigers have been "Newmangated" and you leave all the answers of the disaster to be handled by "Campbell".

No final press conference . He has had enough of those.

No final training session. Just left the players to have a kick.

Wants this game over with.

Doesnt believe in Kama. Thats football.

Dont forget to get your "sunbed" that you have left behind. Browny and Mcmahon are fighting over it. One's slapping the other. Browny wants to take it so he can use it at his clothing store.

Wallace you were the leak. You wanted your press pals to feel sorry for you and you were hoping that the Tigers would explode , sack you , come out looking like the Tigers of old sacking coaches and you come out smelling like roses. Didnt happen Wallace. We stood firm under relentless pressure. Your contract was terminated this week and you still get the remainder of your beautiful salary to go up and head the football Manager's role at sunny Gold Coast(thats if they will have you).

Just reaffirmed what i truly think of you and what i have said on previous posts. I will stick by it all.!

Do what is right for the Tigers ! Yeah right ! Thankfully Brown's injured otherwise you would have had him in that side , along with Mcmahon so they could both hoist you up on their shoulders and head off together for drinks, catch up on the good old days at the Dogs and how wonderful you left that list in. What a joke !

There should be so many other players in that side playing but it goes to show why the players wanted you out.

I hope that Campbell (even though i would have chosen someone else as interim coach) plays as many kids as he is allowed next week, fringe players whose career you have stalled and havent fully developed.

Thanks Terry.

Look i do wish you well. Its hard to be vindictive and have hatred towards you. Hatred is such a powerful emotion and does no one any favours. Goodbye. Lets move on and no matter what happens this game and in the future, Terry you will not take any credit with the list you have left with the Tigers. The next coach will install a belief, a game style that suits the list and be a quiet achiever. No spin, just actions on the field. Bring the mongrel back into the players.

Lastly, you can shake all those personalities and players on the footy show, and dodge questions with Sam Newman but the truth is Terry you have had 5 years, no finals and a laughing stock on the field.

The players will give a send off you deserve.

I agree they aren't key backs, but you can bet they will both play as one on the weekend. Last time against the dogs , Bowden played on Minson and I think Moore played on Johnno at FB. (Not a bad match up admittedly).

If you play all these guys in the back half, where does the run come from, and perhaps more importantly who has the skills to damage the dogs on the rebound?
alex rance for a tall is a line runner if you like. moore is as quick as anyone at the club and should be encouraged to run the lines , the run should come from tambling newman and depending on set up deledio.

the dogs have named just minson and hahn as a tall forwards.ones a ruckman and the other is a big onballer. johnson cooney acker and giansiracusa make up the rest with murphy on the bench. clearly we may have to go a bit smaller it depends on the damage the smaller dog forwards do .

for me tambling on acker. jackson on johnson. moore on cooney. thursfield on minson

My god, you can only assume the tank has been rolled out when you see sides like this.

It is possibly one of the worst balanced sides I have seen.
Bowden, Moore, Mcguane, Thursfield and Rance in the one side, what teams needs 5 key backs.
On key forward. WTF
Jackson, Tuck, Foley and Coughlan in together. Who runs and spreads. There is little point winning the contest if you have no one with leg speed to run and recieve.

Thank god Wallace is leaving.

5 key backs? Serious?

Rance doesn't play KB ATM

Bowden has been forced to play KB at times and is not big enough, ditto Moore

Thursfield - yep, an old fashioned FB who I hope they persist with

McGuane - an improving KB who may or may not make it but would be one of the smallest KB in the league

Yep, too many KB defensive options at the Tigers.....

Against the Dogs it is though Big Cat. As Claw mentioned they only have a ruckman that will rest down there (Minson) & a 188cm former on-baller (Hahn) that will take someone of any size at all to handle.

An ageing & slowing Bowden & poorly skilled Rance (who will likely play midfield anyway) are the only one's that will provide any run.

The Dogs are going to slaughter us for pace & skill. Buckle up.

when did nahas gets this injury does anyone no how long he will be out for he shows great promise that kid and i look forward to seeing him in the seasons to come and i am really happy about rance a your stong body the new starts is biggining at richmond
