Yep that's probably true but doesn't address the point I made.

And if it is true why are the punters paying the same money for 3/5ths of the product?

Tim the don't pay the same for tickets. Tickets to the men's finals were going for higher. Also the tennis TV ratings year after year are higher for men's final than the women's final. Plus more of the product so based on revenue the men again get shafted in the prize money.

I had tickets to men's and women's final, similar seats for exactly the same price. (Procured in Oct last year)

That's ineresting. I thought they were the same. How much were men's compared to women's?

Watching Dellacqua and Barty in the womens doubles final of the French Open, what a pathetic crowd, there's no one there.
