Terry Gives Tivendale a Tigerish Ta-Ta

Richmond veteran Greg Tivendale will end his career for the Tigers at the MCG this weekend.
The former rookie, who has notched up 187 games for the yellow-and-black, had fallen out of favour with coach Terry Wallace this year, and has languished in the VFL for much of the season.
However, Wallace announced in his weekly media conference that Tivendale will be given an appropriate send-off against Melbourne on Sunday.
“He’ll lead the team onto the ground,” Wallace said. “Tiger ‘Stripes’ Dyer booked his September holidays after the Carlton game, so Tiva will be filling in. It’s a big job but I’m sure he’s up to it.”
Tiger ‘Stripes’ Tivendale said he was looking forward to pulling on the iconic costume and lining up against Ronald ‘Dee’ Man. “I’m hoping the Demons will be giving a send-off game to Ben Holland,” he said.
Tivendale said he was looking forward to life after football, and has a new business venture planned. “I’m developing a new digital video recorder that lets you watch TV your way. It’s called Tiva.
“However, we’re having some teething problems as the buttons on the left side often select the wrong option while the buttons on the right don’t work at all.”
