Terry has landed on his sword - GOOD BYE

I'm in the same boat as you mate.
I haven't quite made it to platinum stage yet (still on gold) but like you, turn up each season, each week...really, for what?
A 2 hour comedy routine and then a week full of sh!t from other club's supporters. :P

The years of losses would be easier to take if I could see light at the end of the tunnel.....that there were kids being played or players with not much experience getting a gig and we knew that it would be a long season due to this rebuilding phase.

However when you hear propaganda year after year and the build-up before the season (this season a typical example....draft Cousins, win 8 out of last 11 games previous season, looking to make the 8 after 4 years with Terry) and then for this to happen AGAIN....it does wear a bit thin and I hear you mate!

But what do we do? :don't know

It doesnt matter how many bloody kids we play, until the culture of this joint is corrected, with the values that made us great (grit, determination, win at all costs, play for the club and each other, et al) then the kids we recruit will continue to diverge into the realms of mediocrity as so many other top 20's have. Until we fix these underlying issues, our recruits will continue to fail. Brad Ottens saw this and won a flag. Kudos to him.
