A synopsis for those without speakers
Asked how he wanted the season to progress and not wanting the dramatic rise and then the graph dropping the other way Terry said soemtimes that's the luck of the draw.
Last year we played sides early, in Melbourne, that we were capable of beating and we won. Some were close, just got over Hawks and Dogs. In the latter half of the year we played the better sides in the comp often away from home or interstate.
We've just got to accept where we're at. Last year was improving but 12th place and 10 wins was about right coming off a very poor season the previous year.
Our past history doesn't worry Terry. You don't get less points or more for winning earlier or later in the season. You've got to try and do your best each and every week. Realistically we were only beaten once last year by a team people expected us to win against (mb especially ;D )
We performed well on the road last year but we'll find out how good this year because we've got 6 of them.
Really tough after our the two longest trips in consecutive weeks (Bris, Perth) to come back for round 5 with only a 6 day break. If they couldn't get the draw right in regard to the consecutive away trips they should have given us at least a 7 day break coming back rather than opening round 5 with us on a Friday night.
We've got a good run home with last 6 games at the G. A bit like the Melbourne Cup though, you've got to be in the position to win when opportunities present themselves.
