i watched terry on White Line Fever and a a guy called up regarding Browny's leg and fevola

terry first off said that Browny is recovering fine and is right on schedule and he also said that they would look at fev if we feel comfortable with the deal....

i have seen some of the backlash to the fev talk on the site and i think if we ever got fevola at the club it would take us a step further to glory, just imagine having Brown, Richardson, Fevola up at the forward line it would be one of the best forward lines in years. But then people have been saying that fevola is a dud well i say that look what the right coaches do to dud players ie. Pettifer, Gaspar was revived to all australian form and richo was kicking straight.

whoever we get big name, small name, dud or not just remember that we have the right coaches in place now and not duds like frawley

did i say that, wallace is in charge now if he feels comfortable with the deal he will take it, didnt he say we would not trade our first round draft picks. I would trade fevola for a secound round and maybe a third round depending on what carlton want because this years draft is *smile* and then next year we wil trade for early picks

Terry didn't say never re. trading our first round draft pick. He said he would only do it for a young "Judd" like player which Fev is not.

Yes, I'd love to get Fev, I can't wait to see him standing there with his hands on his hips just watching as his opponent leads the rest of the players a merry dance up the field. Medhurst is an interesting proposition, there could be a trade for Krak brewing there.

I'd take medhurst for krak in a heartbeat. is it just me or has Krak not quite been the same since jimmy got out? I thought he was on a steady inlcine but he seems to have slowed down a bit this year, I don't know if there is anything in it or not, the timing just seemed strange.

We share a similar opinion there CTT, as would Carlton Football Management it seems ;).

Medhurst was very disappointing this year, and if he can sign for two more years with the Anchors, he should grab it with both hands.  :blowingup Krak too was quite disappointing this year - by his own admission, but the upside would be higher with Krak than Medhurst.

Terry would be a tool if he didn't say he'd take Fevola with the right deal in place - same goes for every other player with some playing value - that's about 500 of the 640 going around. However I agree with you Craz that TW will make the best decisions he can to get the team to a still higher level in 2006.

Fevola may not be to some peoples liking, Isaid myself when Iheard the rumours,'no way'.. having second thoughts, obviously his mindset has to be changed so that he gives 100%with or without the ball, he is agood lead & mark, kicks most of his setshots & can thump the ball, opposition teams would have to put one of there better defenders on him, with Richo in front of him, Browny & others around him & hopefully pick up another  midfielder ..worth the try Ireckon even at the expense of an early pick, Fevola is still young himself & at least we know what he can do.. a lot of youngsters don't even make it to the start line.
                                             'Go Tiges'  :emblem :thumbsup

afl clubs are totally conservative when it comes to trading unlike their usa counterparts. every side over values their players and nothing happens despite all the talk. Carlton in their mind will think Fevola is worth a 1st rd pick and a player. Richmond thinks he's worth a 3rd rd pick and rory hilton. And its rare they'll meet in the middle.

in the same way we reckon a good player and a 2nd rd pick for krak, the rest of the league will think 3rd rd pick and one of their duds.

Totally agree Rensman - the unfashionable "win-win" situation gives way quickly to being seen to do best out of a trade. Still interesting to see what gets up though ;)

My opinion is the fev will probably go to a club who is a lot closer to success then us. Not out of his own ambition but because clubs closer to a premiership will think it more appropriate to give a first round draft pick and a fringe player to Carlton. I would think that St.Kilda with the probable retirement of the G train or Geelong who have more than likely realised that Kent Kingsley cant cut it are the clubs likely to give up first rounder for the fev.

Fair call there QPR, Fevola would fit the Saints culture perfectly (the culture that just won't go away that is ;)). Milne, Fevola, Montagna - now there's a good night out :hihi
