Fair enough we were beaten by a much more skilled outfit last night, It happens. What is very dissappointing and unacceptable is the lack of spirit in this group. When the chips are down we just give up.
Whats happened to the Tigers of old as it states in our club song.
"If we're behind then never mind we'll fight and fight and win"
With this group it should say
"If we're behind then never mind we'll let others win"
What about this other part of the song
"We'll never weaken till the final sirens gone"
It should read
"We'll be Witche's Hats until the final sirens gone"
Show some fight Tigers.
I sat and watched this game with a former Tiger legend last night and he was beside himself over the lack of pride in the jumper. Gutless headless chooks was his discription.
