Im not an avdocate of Sheedy coaching RFC nor am i calling for him to replace Wallace.

Im saying the media and the ferals will all be calling for Terrys blood next year when the tigers go nowhere which is what will happen with duds such as Hyde, Moore, Pat Bowden etc playing week in week out. The public will be placated if the tigers get towelled due to being young and full of kids as opposed to the same old names and duds.

There is a big difference between finishing bottom with a list of talented kids as opposed to finishing bottom with pretty much the same list that the club almost was the worst performed side in the RFC history .

4-5 changes this year is not appropriate to this list there must be 8-9 this year.

I wasnt directing it to you ;) Its clear that the game has passed sheeds. We need to go forward and not make the mistakes of old by gambling on has beens.

people were saying Sheedy is a genius. Early this year, He's tapped in Japan market with the possible selection of a japanese warrior, he did sign Michael from the Lions, encouraged Hird to play on, Had faith in their speedy footballers, recruited a gun father and son.

Oh well 1 out of five is not bad for Sheedy.

If Wallace finishes bottom 3 with a list that has been cut into properly and refreshed with upwards of 7 or 8 new players and kids then i agree Wallace has done the correct thing and most definately should see out his contract for sure.

The tigers will finish in all likelihood bottom 3 - 4 anyway so Wallace may as well cut the duds and bring in more junior talent that way he gets leverage and time to see out the journey and possibly get a contract exstension if it is done properly and ruthlessly.

Agree Craig. The fans will be more patient if they see the list continue to evolve with youth as the focus.

The obvious response is why aren't they now then? Because I'm seeing a clear youth focus.

Not if they don't think the draft has any depth.

We(mostly) are being patient.

No chicken manure or torn up membership cards yet Ian.

Terry still has a job. Once apon a time he wouldn't after a season like this one..

Right on. And hopefully another ex-Tiger will do the same for us with Collingwood when he gets the chop.

Seriously, you would have to be craving prison rape to think Sheedy could help the tigers in any way whatsoever.

Sheedy should be pruning roses, not club player lists.

Fact of the matter is Craig weather you like it or not.A list needs the likes of the Hyde,s etc for depth. You cant expect kids to walk straight into the AFL and perform to what is expected of a 24+yr old.Next year expect the likes of Jack,Conners,Casserly,JON and perhaps a few others to be given first dibs at senior level ahead of the hyde,s etc.

Kevin is very sane indeed, he'll be able to juggle the entire RFC coaching staff with Miller included on one hand. Sheedy's comments regarding Hird is purely to get into the heads of the Essendon board.

Agreed, he is doing what he did for EFC's advantage for years, just against EFC this time. And that is sh1t stirring to get a certain angle up in the media.

He warned these guys he still had the fire in the belly, and now he is no longer on the paycheck, he doesn't have to keep his trap shut.
