Terry's Tenure Has To End

Campbo is part of the coaches rabble....he needs to go along with the other hacks. The new broom needs to start at the top.

We need someone with balls and we need people who will not bow to the bleeding hearts;

Bowden, Brown, Tuck, Simmonds, Schulz, Johnson, Tambling, JON, all should be shown the door and anyone else who doesnt want to show 100% all the time

terry really is useless.

when we don't need the wins (eg. first few years of our rebuilding), he had to play the senior players, trying to eek out some pointless wins just to make his own resume look better, as a result, we went from 16th to 12th to 9th, wasting valuable high draft picks.

now that we want wins on the board, when we want to make the finals, he can't do the job right and fail miserably.

get the hell out of punt road terry!!!!

ah that would be tanking according to some. i for one have advocated we tank for yrs its obvious we are stufed this yr we should be tanking now especially with us playing melb this week. its about time all and sundry recognised where we are at and acknowledge the process we have to go thru.

The two worst things that the club could do would be to appoint Wayne Campbell, I can guarantee that in about 3 years we'll be right back here having the same discussion, only the name will be changed to Campbo. The other thing would be to become fixated on one of the coaches in waiting or one of the out of contract guys. You could appoint one of them for sure, but don't get fixated on someone. A guy in today's online Sun made an interesting suggestion, get someone like Ricciuto as coach with say Malthouse mentoring him. Never thought of Roo before, but I can't imagine he'd put up with some of the performances Terry gets these days.

mmmm...interesting thought there CTT.

Richmond definitely needs a taskmaster as coach.

Richmond has had a soft team since the Northey days and we're dying for hardness.

In my opinion, we need Malthouse or Matthews at the club as coach.

I don't think either of them will deliver Richmond a premiership any time in the future, but I do believe they would be brilliant coaches for the next two years before a modern-style coach takes over and leads us into the upper echelons.

Great original Post!! :clap

Would have been even better if you hadn't mentioned Campbell at the end. Not just because I don't think he's the answer but because this thread has turned into pretty much half a dozen other threads.

I'm obviously a lone voice in saying this but I reckon Cambo would be a good choice.

He has football smarts and I dont believe in the myth that he was soft. When one of our players went down he was often the first (and often the only) RFC player to come in to fly the flag.

Wayne Campbell will coach the tiges.
People need to think of Wayne Campbell the person, not Wayne Campbell the player ;)

Give me a break. If he ever coaches the RFC in a long term then we have lost the plot completely.

and what traits does wayne campbell the person have to warrant being coach of an AFL club before damian hardwick, mick malthouse, leigh matthews, mark williams etc, etc.?

there is no chance that wayne campbell will even be considered as coach of richmond, apart from maybe a caretaker if wallace gets sacked before round 22.

people are seriously deluded if they think campbell will get the gig permanently.
not a hope in hell.

I doubt Wallace would actually get sacked before round 22. He may, however, be advised that his contract will not be renewed some way through the season (not before round 11), but I suspect he wont be sacked.

March has said so, and if the present backs down on this, then I think he signs his own death warrant because who will take him seriously.
