It allows you to post a YouTube or other media type into your post. The link on the first post gives you some examples.
The code below is how you would do the same functionality in HTML.

Perhaps the [nobbc][flash][/nobbc] tag may work but you may not have it enabled.
It allows you to post a YouTube or other media type into your post. The link on the first post gives you some examples.
The code below is how you would do the same functionality in HTML.

On first thoughts I have doubts and think it would be better to just post the link so those interested can click on it.
The mod would mean that someone viewing a thread would end up with a movie to download as well. It's slow enough having images in posts but would be 10 or more times worse. Probably not a bother with Broadband but I'm sure I'm not the only one here with dodgy, very slow dial-up.
I also don't think PRE should be turned into a mini-clone of You Tube with heaps of clips taking over general discussion.
We'll look into it in the next day or so.

No problems Rosy it was just a thought. It's your call and your board. I believe the movie is only downloaded once the image is clicked. The playback plugin would be held in browser cache.
The main issue I see here is censorship. You would be unable to apply anything like a swear filter to the content. Automatic moderation would be difficult.
