people were laughing at me when i started a thread a couple of months ago stating that we might be the next vic team to win a flag (despite us bring 3-4 years away). i cannot see the interstate dominance ending anytime soon.

It's their window though...its only 6 years ago that there was only one interstate team in the top-8 (Brisbane in 6th)....Essendon won the flag, Carlton finished 2nd on the ladder, and even the Hawks made the top-8!

Now, the ladder is more or less reversed....and in 6 or 7 years time, it will be reversed again, I would imagine.
