Sat next to a Geelong supporter at the Caulfield Races yesterday which highlighted they are not all deluded anchovies. Expected the usual saltiness but he refreshingly stated that over Scott's tenure, he felt it had become increasingly embarrassing to support the cats due to the increasingly insistent whinging. He also thought recruiting Stevens and Jenkins was a massive mistake and Ablett should have retired.

Yep. From all the Cats supporters I know and even reading their BF forum, there seems to be more against Pricky than for him.

Surely any objective Cats supporter has to start questioning Scott and his appalling finals record from 2012-2019.

Geelonginthetooth are shiat!

Salty Scott, the good looking one, actually neither are good looking. Not helping am I? The one with the ping-pong ball fetish. No? Still not enough to differentiate? *smile* it - Both of the Scotts can kiss my sweaty, hairy, stinky, arse! They are both shiat!

*smile* 'em too!

So, in the past 3 years we have won nearly twice as many finals as the handbaggers have in the past 8 years

Took the youngest to rugby training last night and the son pointed out the car we parked next too had a big Go Cats sticker on their side window. His first live game of AFL was the loss to the Cats this year so he has a real hatred for them.

I pulled out an old RFC sticker sheet from the glovebox and peeled of the small square yellow slash stickers (why oh why did the club stop those) and handed it to the son with a smile. "Really?", yep I said, "Where?" somewhere where it's not too obvious. I wonder how long the salty supporters take to realise there is a Tigers sticker on the underside of their rear bumber where only someone in a car behind can see it.

Too subtle Baloo.

You should have stuck it on their windscreen!

In fairness they've introduced plenty of new players in the past two years. Kelly (25), Atkins (23), Ratugolea (21), Henry (20), Miers (20), Clark (18), plus Dahlhaus, Rohan & Ablett.

Their list management is pretty damn good and I don't think Hardwick was being facetious when he said we aspired to be like them.
So of those you named, Kelly is gone and of Dalhaus/Rohan/Ablett - not sure you'd be banking on too much output come finals in 2020 (if they get there).

Miers has the worst kicking action in the AFL, may disappear off the scene in a couple of years. I like Atkins, he's a goer and Ratugolea/Henry/Clark are all talents.

The goal was to make sure they didn't pull it of when they returned to the car. My car with it's RFC sticker would have given them a good clue as to who did it.

Ideally when they spot it they ask "How long has that been there?!?"

Great analysis Lee.

It's an all-in-for-a-flag in 2020 approach, and while I don't think it will work, I think it's the right move - otherwise its full on rebuild time and Scott's legacy is seriously tarnished. They are hoping that Giblett and the other old guys can have one last exceptional season, no injuries and capture their old form.

Will be great to watch when it all turns to merde.
Yep. But that's not how salty has sold it. And it will turn to shite.
