The calm before the storm

Tell me something Irock. Considering Chris is on our list. Would you prefer him to "come good" or do you think it's better to bag him and hope he fails?

Rocky's keeping it "Real" Rosy.......you leave him be!

hmmmm 25 yr old small outside midfielder who couldnt get a game late in the season in the wooden spoon side tells me the coaching staff see it that way also

with the likes of mcmahon & morton also coming into the side its only going to make it harder for him to get a game, if he does want to get a game next season he's going to have to show a bit more than what he has the last couple of years which can only be a good thing for the side imo

Aunty Rosy i dont think Irockz is wishing for Hyde to fail.

Way i see it is that rocky is just putting forward his opinion that Hyde has plateaued as a player and will not get any better , is not really that good does not have impact or hurt oppositions and has not improved much since he has been at the club, that he doesnt offer that much if not anything long term apart from freeing up a list space along with a couple other last year contracted players for an expected higher class draft at seasons end ....................

i must say i agree with him.

;D ;D ;D

To be honest and more to the point serious ....... there really is no longer a spot for Chris in the side imo.

Jackson, Polo, Raines, Casserly, King, Newman and now Morton and McMahon can all do similar jobs to Chris whether it be as defenders or in the case of Polo, Jackson and Newman as taggers through the middle.

Hyde is depth only and seeing out his contract until he makes way for a quality kid in the big draft coming up at the end of 08.

That pretty much sums it up. Bit of a shame about Hyde really, I thought he was going places until that clash with Maguire, it's been pretty much all downhill since that, aside from the 4 goals against the Cats in 2006.

hyde is on the list for 08 and could either dominate or slip away. I hope he dominates.
However he is in the age group where a 2nd season chalking up Coburg appearances can kill off your career.
