Well todays announcements was not the storm that i was expecting...
I know we had 4 retirements in Gas, Hall, Knoble and Kingsley and 3 delistings in Krak, Harts and P.Bo that makes 7, in all honestly i think they should of cut deeper when you finish 16 you must leave no stone unturned i dont mean delisting another 5 or 6 even though that is possible, i think another 2 would've been suffice taking the overall number to 9. Meaning we would have had 6 pics in the ND and PSD and with the 2 new inclusions in Morton and McMahaon we would have had 8 new faces to the squad. I think that would've been a very good turnover of players in our current predicament..
I think hyde, Tivvas and Meyer are extremely lucky to survive the cut, moore i was advocating that he wouldn't survive at the start of this season but with that game against the bombers in RD 21 and a good finals series for Coburg i think that saved him. But id rather have a young tall with a mature body in moore than a speculative pic late in the ND.
Tivvas and Hyde only 1 should of survived and meyer do they really believe he will be a part of this group long term.
Howat seems to be in no mans land, does anyone think he will survive? i think we have many of these types of players, outside flankers he is very one sided i dont mind him likes to run but i personally feel he isn't the answer long term so does he go back on the rookie list or do we give him the pink slip?
Who else should've got the chop?
