The Cats will be crushed tomorrow night!

Geelong only fear one side-Collingwood.
Best thing for Geelong to do is help sides who are fighting for Collingwoods spot in the 8.
Tigers by 5 goals after Bartel,Ling,Scarlett,Selwood & Corey all "Injured" come the 4th qtr ;D

If Richmond, Adelaide and Brisbane all win Collingwood will slip out of the 8. >:D (That's what they said on the radio!)

I like your optomistic prediction boys but how is a 12pnt loss by Geelong a "crushing loss"????

I'll explain it to you.

The Cats will kick 7 goals in junk time to make their loss look respectable.

That's very good incentive for us to win!!!!!!!!!

Would like a dose of most people's confidence on this matter, but sadly it is nowhere to be seen.

If they are close to being competitive against the Cats at this stage in the teams overall development - from whipping boys to serious finals contenders, then I'll be happy. Geelong is so far ahead of Brisbane it is not funny and what a struggle that was.

We are improving, no doubt about that, but certainly we're a way off just at the minute.

Would love the boys to prove me wrong however!
spot on mate.

i think tonight can be very important for our last few games.

if we can have a few good bursts during the game and really challenge them at some point and get within 5 goals at the end then i think the players will take huge confidence and belief out of that for our last 4 games.

it doesn`t get any harder than geelong in this comp so if we can manage to be competitive and do some good things in the game then it will give our players a lot of belief, especially the younger ones.

If we do it, it'll be our grand final. Winning today will mean losing to Adelaide next week and possibly not making the 8.

How would us getting victory tonight mean lose next week against the crows and missing the eight. I though if we actually can pull off a victory meant a better chance to.

Beating the Cats would be massive for us. It would be our grand final. It would be very hard mentally and emotionally to come back and win next week.

Happens all too often to teams who achieve more than can be expected of them.

Equally, the self-belief can also carry you through................

We don't agree on much Flopsy - but on this we are as one ;D

Wow! There are some seriously delusional people on here! :spin :smash

We are in for a rude awakening tonight and anything less than 40 points would be a surprise.

I'll be more than happy to be proved wrong of course but we have struggled to beat very average teams lately and tonight will show how far we still have to go.

Meh... we're a middle of the road side who are definitely on the improve but we wont get within 5 goals.
