Would everyone, media included, please stop referring to the dumping of Chicken Manure at Punt Road 2 years ago as a typical Richmond supporters reaction to a bad loss.

This stunt was from a non-Richmond supporter seeking publicity.

The only Chicken Manure at Punt Road is the Dynamic Lifter used by the curators around the ground!

FIVE years ago.

If I remember correctly, someone referred to an article or something which blew the whistle on the whole thing (it might have even been a thread on this site). I never saw it but does anyone know where I could find it (or what the hell I'm talking about?)?

It was apparently a Richmond supporter who subsequently had a match day role with Richmond in return for a financial contribution so the club mustn't have been overly upset by the incident.

The time the reference to the incident really annoyed me was when Mithen joked about it on the radio.

Chicken manure doesn't give players better skills.

Speaking of Chicken Manure.

Growing up I lived next to a lane which was used by many school kids to and from school. After school hours and often after hours, there was always a group of punks hanging around misbehaving.
Often we had to clean up after their rubbish (cans, cut lunch, etc) thrown over the fence. Although, it was annoying, no major damage occurred.
My dad was and still is a keen gardener and his ”vegi patch” was large. During my early months in my first job at a chemical company, I had an opportunity to purchase 6 big bags of “Blood and Bone” at no cost.

We spread the manure on Sunday afternoon, come Monday the laneway became an express lane, the kids ran to and from school, there was no one hanging around after hours. suddenly, living next to a lane became more pleasant.
