for mine, kraks is being played in the wrong position up forward as a crumber. Stopages is where i think he will most benefit. He should be told to get to as many stoppages and extract the pill out to the runners. Stopages dont run fast so his speed is neglible but his superquick hands and brains come to the fore. But then theres the fitness thing too i suppose...

i was about to respond but then read your last sentence, you answered your own question

thats what 6 lazy pre seasons will do to ya!

Krakouer was in the top 5 for most of the NAB Training Points.

He works extremely hard now, don't know about previous years.

its about time you got over the nab thing, moore was top 10 and what has he done

1 good pre season over the past 5 means nothing

time to go

Just stopage playing him in the seniors and I'll remain happy.

lol...good one ToO.

Unfortunately I am now a converted with Krakouer. I was always of the belief that he should be given a go with Terry Wallace to see what he can produce. But with the younger guys coming on now, I just don't think that Krakouer has a position to play with the Tigers anymore. The idea of getting to stoppages is theoretically sound, however, he has been thrown in the middle before, but has shown not to have the stamina to be successful at the role. In the forward line, he's had some great games. He has sublime skills and is a fantastic tackler but consistency has always been an issue. Everytime Krakouer gets dropped or injured, as he did a couple of times last year, and last week, I'm wondering whether we will see him in the seniors again. Short of an amazing form reversal consistency wise, I think Krakouer's time, at Richmond at least, could be up.

I hate to say it, but I suspect that Krak is on borrowed time.

I also agree regarding KK. With the surprising improvement of Schulz, Hughes and JR, there isn't a spot left for him any more even though he hasn't really been given a chance.

I also have concerns regarding Hall (although I hope that he plays one more game to get to 100), Howat and Jackson.

Having said that, there are 17 more weeks, so anyone can still redeem themselves and I hope that they do.

Kent Kingsley : after a deplorable conversion rate at the weekend he's showing why he was nicknamed Kant Kicksley.

Sorry to ruin this argument with facts but he didn't kick any points at the weekend

I don't have a problem with kent being on the list. I don't expect him to feature in our future but if he can warrant selection over our young guys it will only make them work harder to get in the side!!

Playing kids for the sake of it breeds lazy footballers who just cruise at 60% while they get easy games(eg Patty Bowden at times). Make them earn it and it will keep them honest

I also have a hitlist of players who are likely to be delisted and those available for trade and it's very similar.

Delist: Gaspar, Knobel, P Bowden, Moore, Howat, Graeme

Available for trade trade: Pettifer, Tuck, Krak, Hyde, Tiv, Jackson, Hartigan, Hall (the last 3 a strong chance of being delisted if not traded).

Understanding of course that we can't decimate the list by culling all 14 but certainly wield the axe harshly and trade vigourously.
