feel free to debunk this topic if you think it warrants. I understand its a negative topic but its still an genuine attempt at assessing the playng roster not a tar and feather exercise.

I keep a weekly excel sheet (among others) of those on our roster who are on The Chopping Board for the end of the year.

My current list as of this week stands as :

Angus Graham : Peterson might well be the man in his boots? Thats a big maybe yes but just a thought.

Kent Kingsley : after a deplorable conversion rate at the weekend he's showing why he was nicknamed Kant Kicksley.

Matthew White : A player i really want to do well. His endeavour is first rate and he has speed to boot but must improve his disposal in general play.

Brent Hartigan : 'as above'

Ray Hall : A top up player at best. Unfortunately for Hally his lack of a footy awareness sees him occupy the Chopping Board on a regular basis. His injury's have only served to strengthen his listing.

Trent Knobel : I understand his surgery and the reasons for it but up til now no-one has been so injury prone as knobs. Might improve after surgery, we'll see.

Pat Bowden : Had an ok year last year but i saw something in his game at a praccy match this summer that put me right off. My insight has so far proven right. His kicking action is lazy along with his lack of run and carry when under pressure.

Kayne Pettifer : Well i thought i'd save the surprise for the end. Im sorry but he just doesnt do anything for me. He works hard in offence but all of a sudden hes heavy footed when its time to work the other way.

sitting on the bench next to the board : Darren Gaspar

see you next week...
