The club listened to the fans...now pay up!

i have a seat and membership that is paid for every year and as i DID work weekend night shift , i hardly use it . But now i work days Mon to Thurs , i will use it . And since i have just got my first grandchild she has a seat and full paid up membership , even if her dad is a hawks member on and off.
I just don't smoke or drink (much anyway) to pay for the fun of being a fully paid up member.

agree wholey with this thread...people getting overly exited and backing us for the flag etc..and stating how much they love cuz at the club better pay up and get on board. as a tiger chick from waaaaaay back i have myself (golod member), hubby (silver), dog, cats, baby, grandparents and neice all signed up AS WE DO EVERY YEAR.

As for some so called tigers i know that are boycotting the club bcause of cousins...well they can get :flush . support your club no matter what i say..

Good stuff Tammy, you've got all generations covered. Sounds like your pets are important (they got a mention before the baby ;D)
Great supporter/member :clap

I didnt pay up 2 times in the Frawley years. One year because I couldnt afford it and the other in protest. I still went and watched the boys train and went to games when I could.
Couldnt afford it last year either. So I was about to turn gold... back to rookie or whatever the hell it is now. Might not be able to afford it this year but will try like hell.
Less of a supporter? Get *smile*ed!! I havemissed 3 years in my life.

My dear old dad signed me up as an MCC member when I was a kid... I have had to forego that because I cant afford it. :(
Thanks Dad.

I wonder how many WC supporters are buying Tiger memberships in Perth?

The club should look at paying them back for their generosity by giving them free admission to the Freo-Tigers NAB Cup game. It would be a fantastic PR exercise to have the young Tigers playing at Subi in front of a few Freo fans and a contingent of bemused WC fans barracking for the mighty Tiges.

I'd be very interested to know this living here in the West. I know of five people who fit the bill myself, two of whom actually took out full membership (without seating I presume), and three who took out interstate membership. Given I live in a regional city of 25000, I reckon there could be quite a few if you extrapolate the figures to a statewide basis.

Which actually worries me a little bit, because it may mean that our membership figure long term isn't as sustainable as we'd like. Don't get me wrong, the money is very welcome, but we really want core members who stick through thick and thin.

Nothing wrong with taking a dollar off the friendly blowins for a season.
With a smidgin of luck and a place in the eight we might be able to fire up a few of the swinging members and get them to commit from 2010 and onwards.

Absolutely agree TM, just show us the money. Just hope that some of those swinging members don't get complacent about the club's position and not take up memberships in the next couple of years if it turns out we sign say 2000-3000 friendly blow-ins.
