I've just been shaken to my soul!!

I've never been a subscriber to conspiracies but I now have a firm grip on one and it's irritating the bejesus out of me. :o

The AFL since 2000 have stressed the fact that we needed to expand further into the northern markets since then 4 cups have gone north of the murray. You can attribute a good deal of this "unexpected" windfall of flags to the north to the salary cap concessions given to the two northern sides. ???

Since 1990 when the game became national, of the 16 competitions that have been run 9 have been won buy teams from interstate. This is as the AFL are saying the cup must go interstate for the game to become truly national. ???

Tonight I saw what I think might be the next step in the AFL conspiracy. The doggies being the team they are would be the only team to be considerably advantaged by the new set of rules and interpretations........ and the AFL are committed to a 16 team comp. What a way to ensure the success of a team than to change the rules to suit them......

Then again I might just be delusional :rofl :rofl :rofl

I don't know about the conspiracy theory, mate. ???

You would assume that the new rule changes would advantage running players with big motors.

The Bulldogs are definitely advantaged by the new rules.

Isn't that the sort of team that Terry is trying to build with the Tiges?

At the moment our motors are running on 1-2 cylinders!!

Yeah but with the media frenzy that I heard at certain times tonight and if the dogs keep belting teams the rules might well be recinded next year and that don't do us too much good.

I'm not all doom and gloom , a good multiple at the moment would still be the dogs for the cup and the tiges for the 8.

Wait a second. I'm with you on this Nige. Don't the doggies play up in Darwin. Christ, if they win the flag with these new rules in pace, another cup goes (further) north.
I wonder what rules they'll bring in to get the 'Roos to take the cup back to Canberra? Hmmmmmmmm

A passion makes you do some funny things bloke, like sitting up at 1:45 drinkin' stubbies, and tryin' to be positive about a 100+ point loss.......
