The Crunch Game

I'm not denying that there are some games that have extra emphasis placed on them, but its just the way the media get carried away with it that irks me.

better get used to feeling irksome ;D The media will always do that if they get a hind of difference between team. This game more analysed than ever - even girlfriends and wives fight it out now of what was said or inferred ;D

Crunch game will be against Geelong then??

Actually, if the coach knows the games are not winable, then perhaps he could let us know so we know not to watch? But some like to slow down and look at car crashes I suppose....

If the boys need an artificial crunch game to fire up on Anzac weekend then they might as well pack up and go home now.
They've had the sting of playing *smile* footy against the Kangas and Scum, and getting their noses rubbed in it for the poor efforts.
They've played some bloody good footy the last two games and for their own personal pride and team respect be wanting to play to this level every week.
Stick them up against the side that everyone is arse kissing as the only genuine contender to the Cats title and they've got all the reason they need to arc up.

Exactly right.

If i was coach I would be drilling them about all the media hype regarding Buddy and Tambling, really fire them up.

I don't think Terry would bother with that jamo. He rates Lance very highly, in fact he even said he'd have him ahead of Gary Ablett, and I doubt he'd show such disrespect to a kid who is travelling pretty well.

Terry should win tool of the century.

We need a new coach, someone young and fresh out of the modern game.
