Has Wallett lost the players or are our players so mentally fragile?
What transpired on Sunday was the clubs darkest hour in its history.
To witness what happened turned me inside out. Where does the blame lay now?
I tell you where............
Wallett. Sure he doesnt go out and get a kick, handball, tackle, man up, talk, encourage, but i now believe that he has lost the players.
We saw young kids out there. The result a record loss 157 points, a near all time record score(17 points off the record). I dont think i can remember a worse performance. Sorry just came to me. Wasnt it by 120plus against Adelaide many years ago when Walls was our coach. The end result he GOT SACKED...........
And who are our opponents this week. ADEKAIDE, WHERE @ AAMI
I believe that the disease lies within the core group, the players who have been there many years. It has spread amongst the young players. There is a devide down at the club and more problems then we care to realise and believe. Its mrque player Brown yet to appear and his future very unclear.
I dont think Wallace is the right man and i have stood firm on this since he arrived.
I dont think he is the man who will rid the culture that is Richmond. We talk about other clubs cultures but ours is the worse over a very very long time
2 finals in 20 plus years says it all.
Which club has had that sort of history, culture , lack of success and its players show a lack of fight.
Even Fitzroy did more but yes that folded because the then vfl let the club down but since becoming the lions have won 3 flags and played amny finals and have a good coach and leaders.
Where are our leaders who can show the fight up to the young kids?
Where is the coach who can demand the results and be ruthless not in the way he sacks senior players but in other ways
