i, like many others, did the hard yards by getting up at 3am, and headed into the city for the world cup game against croatia. in the last 10 minutes of the game, i felt like my heart was gonna explode. i was so nervous and on edge. i don't ever recall my emotions going up and down like a roller coaster in any other time in my life. but when the whistle was blown, the feeling of euphoria was incredibly overwhelming.

this leads me to richmond. i have never witnessed watching richmond win a flag. i suspect if this happened, i would be openly crying like a blubbering idiot and i would have the biggest bender of all time. my family and workmates wouldn't see me for a week!

i'm interested to know... of those who have celebrated a richmond premiership;
- how did they feel after the final siren blew?
- what did they do to celebrate the victory?
- how do people think they would feel when we break our premiership drought?
- how would they celebrate the win?

- how did they feel after the final siren blew?
I was 15 back then, I knew we had won the game half way through the 3rd, jumped on my dragstar after the game to visit my Collingwood mates to *smile* stir them.

- what did they do to celebrate the victory?
Stayed up really late, I think I watched the replay on The Winners

- how do people think they would feel when we break our premiership drought?
This time I will cry with joy.

- how would they celebrate the win?
Get intoxicated and take time off work to celebrate.

BLOODY BONZA FEELING MATE!
JUST BURST WITH PRIDE WHEN THE THEME SONG BELTED OUT AND SPENT the off season bathing in premiership glory and sticking it right up someone else who so much as bagged the team.......
In 1980........I was gtonna have a can for every goal the Tigers kicked.......had to stop in the 3rd quarter at 15 cans...had to do a gig that night!
aND THE SULLEN,SAD,MOODY LOOKS ON ALL THE MAGPIE FACES THAT NIGHT...iT WAS nirvana....A SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL EUPHORIA...... :hihi :hihi :hihi :hihi :hihi :hihi :hihi

It was 1967. I was a Uni student and had a compulsory Biology excursion to Ferntree Gully National Park......couldn't believe my bad luck after all those years of support.......but managed to leave early and hop on the train to MCG .....then ran like a maniac through the carpark and squeezed my way into the ground at 3/4 time. They used to open the gates to let the strays in then.

I found a spot in standing room behind the goals at the PUNT ROAD END amidst the drunken tige supporters. It was a close match and as seems their destiny, the Tigers were kicking more points than goals. Still with Royce and the boys, we had some magic players and of course Tommy to guide us.

It's all a bit of a yellow and black blur after the siren, but I feel warm inside just remembering it.

Compulsory viewing was World of Sport with Jack Dyer the next day. Jack spoke for all of us.

As a kid I was lucky enough to see the great Tiges under Tommy Hafey win flags.

What did I do when we won?

I cried.

What will i do when we win another?

I'll cry

Its such a great feeling,an overwhelming feeling of being at the top of the mountain, god knows how it must feel as a player.

I remember the 1980 flag vividly,

it was great.

2 years later the 1982 grandfinal. I remember thinking that barracking for Richmond was pretty easy.

I also remember thinking after the siren 'OK, we'll be back'.
