Brisbane looms as the most important one for me. The Tigers have not beaten one side above them. Brisbane would be a perfect confidence booster to show we can compete with the teams above us. Am always nervous playing Brisbane, they seem to always be tough to beat. If we lose to Brisbane we are basically out of the running as I don't see us beating Geelong. Geelong in its current form are untouchable. I see all the other games as winnable even Hawthorn, which I think we have a similar team style and showed last time that we can push them (as long as Buddy kicks 1-11 again). Going to be a close call but I think in the end we are going to rue the draw with the Bulldogs. Nevertheless I've always had a soft spot for 9th position.

Only the ferals would think we are a chance against geelong.

So you are a feral if you go to the game hoping to win?

I suppose we may as well hang up the scarf that day and tell the players not to bother rocking up then.

Our odds are far from good, but any day you go out with 22 men against 22 men you are always a chance (even if its only a tiny one)

Obviously i'm hoping for a win every week........ But seriously come on.
I'm just realistic.

Brisbane haven't beaten us since 2004.

Last 2 times we have played them at Telstra Dome was last year Draw and the year before when we smashed them by 82 points.

I'm confident this week

Gawd that was an awful game.

Barring the obvious fact that if we lose this weekend it's season over, I think the most crucial game is vs. Adelaide at AAMI. If we win this weekend, I'll be seriously considering making the trip over to the city of churches.

That's true, since 2005 we have played Brisbane 4 times for a 4 point win in 2005, 14 point win followed by 82 points in 2006 and a draw in 2007, so other than the 82 points an average winning margin over 3 games of a goal. Brisbane look a little stronger this year but so are the Tigers. This could be a very close game. We need to win it.

Won 5 from the last 6

Melbourne :clap
Port :clap
Carlton :-[
West Coast :clap
Essendon :clap
Brisbane :clap

and 5 to go. With the first three looking pretty tough

Geeong
Adelaide
hawthorn
Fremantle
Melbourne

we should win the last 2.

that would give us 10 and a half wins so we will need to win at least one of geelong, hawks or adelaide games.

i think the adelaide game is our best chance.

adelaide away will be hard but we seem to be playing good footy.

do you think 11.5 will be enough?

I suspect 11.5 wins may actually be enough this year, unbelievably.

There's 4 teams only 1/2 a game ahead. We only need one of them to win only 2 games, and win 1 more game than North--assuming they beat the Dees today

Seems feasible to me .

i can't believei'm saying this but assuming we win our last 2, i reckon 1 win out of the next 3 will be enough. we can rule out geelong but i seriously think we're a rough chance against adelaide and hawthorn.
