Watch it and make up your own mind.





This may sound unusual but I am a big Sam fan, BUT I like the show better since Billy took over.

The best mix would be to use Sam sparingly - bring him in for street talk and a segment at 10.30 every week to talk footy issues so he can still be contraversial, funny, daring etc without becoming stale and annoying to some.

Keep Billy on the panel to make the general public laugh, he's more appealing to the wider audience.

have watched very little of it since sam went off.

mainly due to the politicaly correct police hounding him off.
 
I rarely watch the whole show unless Richo is on. (He will be on next week remember!)

Billy's doing a good job. Don't miss Sam at all.
 
Hate the idea that Sam was corralled off the show by the adjudicators of right and wrong. No, i don't support what Sam says but at least supplied spark to a very boring G Lyon & JB. Billy's small *smile* stuff is already predictable; he can be a funny guy but is too blokish. Sam can be a pain in many areas but at least there is some level of academic intelligence in his words. Footy is ok but are we not looking for entertainment?

no it hasnt not at all the radio station is wrong, i work in entertainment and buy tv spots the and footy show is still rating at 0.895 mill viewers, and still in the top 15 shows.
The sam newman hoo hah is a publicity stunt, since the sam saga ratings are back up 20 per cent it was all purposly done the stunt with the manican all planned. Its the same as fatty voughton this week all planned again gets them into first 5 pages story of the major press and publicity like that cant be bought.

Agree with you there.

When that stopped I started watching The Footy Show mainly to get the teams. I've hardly watched it at all for about 3 years. Don't like the way Sam used to put people down especially Street Talk. Enjoyed Almost Footy Legends though and I like Trevor Marmalade's humour.
 
sams street tlkaing is terrible...how he gets away with making fun of people who are sometimes quite obviously " not the full two bob" is beyond me....
