The age arguement is irrelevant. You can be young & crap or young & good. Surely everyone remembers the 'young tiger cubs' of the late 80's and early 90's. We were young, full of potential...& crap. Hence being young means nothing.

Yep, fair enough Mav, same goes for the middle age and older players as well.

Age is a good excuse at a glance... But when you see that Hawthorn are just as young as us in almost every single way, the age excuse is completely meaningless.

Wallace has failed, and the sooner he realises this, and allows us to find the best replacement, the better.

Check the median age rather than mean when you compare RFC and HFC.

RFC is certainly skewed to the right and hence would drag our mean age up.

If you excluded players over 30 RFC certainly would have the younger list.

Hawthorn: 23 yrs, 0 mths (Ben McGlynn)
Richmond: 22 yrs. 3 mths (Will Thursfield)

As you can see, there isn't much of a difference.

Age isn't the reason why we're struggling. No leadership, poor development and list management is

Actually, 9 months or 3/4 of a year is actually a sizeable diff - 10 clubs fit in between 0.75 of a year in the tables provided by L2R2R.
