This once proud club is coming to the end of its worst season in its history.

A coach who is concluding his third year of a decent contract.

A promise that success will arrive somewhere after or near 2011

Players (senior)who from the outside appear not interested or desire to fight and get rid of this tag that has hung over the clubs and players heads(being soft, worst performed Victorian club).

A coach who is very good with the media at selling the promise of success and a director at doing likewise , but whose supporters are nor stupid or willing to buy into this anymore.

Supporters who have had about enough and just want hard , decisive actions taken at seasons end with players and the like if we are to ever play finals again, be successful and ultimatly achieve the holy grail(flag).

A club who asked another coach to come in and speak prior to the Geelong game who was sacked previously from his club, who once spoke of our club (not in glowing terms) , Grant Thomas , needs a look at it self if it needs home truths spoken by outsiders troubles me. Home truths should be spoken by the club and coach. We all know what the football world think of us. !

I am tired of the patience we still have to endure.

Tough decisions have to be made on the list and it has to start now.

There are some good kids coming through who i am worried that may develop the disease that is Richmond.-that is ..................

Well said waiting. You elude clearly to some of the problems which face this club. I was horrified when I read that Thomas spoke to our group...I feel let down by the lack of drive by the leaders of the club...but when you reflect on the example that was set before them what is to be expected apart from second rate efforts and this WAS acceptable. If this menatlity prevails then we will languish for years trying to fathom our way from a bottomless pit. The ruthlessness has died in our club. I would like to see a breakdown of the club's preseason tournament and see how many of the clubs leaders finished in the top group that earned a game in the first pre-season game? Frommemory many of the leaders in this were kids WHO WANT too play...kids who dont see it as a right. Look at where Foley, King and Edwards have come from, look at the comments attributed to Graham...these are all kids who WANT to play and EARN the right. Come on Terry get rid of those who see it as a right rather than those WHO WANT to play....then and only then will we savour prolonged success and hail you as a master coach. Northey did it, Sheedy did it, Matthews did it and Ross did it....even your coaches Jeans and Joyce did it!
