Had to chuckle at Salty Scott. “The best player I’ve ever seen”, give me a break.
Good player in his prime but “the best player ever” Salty must have been still drunk.

Voss would like a word with Scott given they played almost their whole careers together.

Geez the HUN are in on the Selwood lovefest. He’s on NINE pages AND a poster!

Triple premiership captain and Brownlow medalist Trent will obviously get a good dozen pages and a statue I assume….
It's Geesook alright. "I was walking out all tears, then turned back and gave Chris with tears another hug" (or something like that...heard it on SEN this morning)

Gee some here are doing the sour grapes thing. Think we need to put the energy into why we did not make the big day and plug the gaps and mental fadeouts.

Seriously losing to sides when leading well is one thing but losing to North and the Gold Coast is another. And the nail in the coffin was Lynchs sloppy effort from ten metres out and then having the players allow a Brisbane score like that needs attending to.

Geelong can wait and sweat our first meeting next year.

Spot on no one else to blame , but ourselves those sloppy mistakes and play coming from a side that's won 3 flags and mostly experienced heads was rubbish that was the difference at the end this year.

We weren't ready to play Geelong
Prestia was injured
Grimes was thinking about the grapes of the season and Dusty was miles away from footy.
If everything comes together we are the only team capable of beating them but there's alot IFs
Backline needs to tighten up and hopefully the inclusion of the GWS boys we can win a few clearances, otherwise we fked

Cotch will get to 300 games next year, and probably retire, but no one outside of the RFC will give him the respect that he deserves. The general football public don’t rate him. All most of them remember is the clash with Shiel in the ‘17 PF. He’s got 2 more flags as captain than Duckwood and a Brownlow.
London to a brick that Skippa Chimp gets F* all fanfare when he goes.

Well, that's half a dozen frees that the Cats aren't guaranteed every week.

There's an article in yesterday's Herald Sun from the former West Coast player Will Schofield that is well worth a read. (Can't find it online).

Tells a story about Joel Selwood's involvement with Schofield's brother (who has a different name) who was suffering cancer, after a third party asked if he could send a cheerio.

What happened after that tells you why Selwood is so revered by people that know him. Had the entire Geelong squad send video messages and when the young fella arrived in hospital for treatment a jumper arrived, signed and with a very personal message written on it.

It’s a shame outrage sells more than good news. Generally aussies don’t like to big note themselves but it’s a shame journalists don’t get rewarded for exposing the positive work many folks do.

I’m still sticking with whinging ducking dirty behind the play eye gouging cheat though.

Maybe he is both.

Every club does this type of thing, but it never gets covered.
Find it amusing the media has just started rolling this stuff out for only Selwood like he's the only player to ever do this.

We are still fking with them..
Who's the bloke that posts 'we living in there heads rent free" very very true..
Today they released the Geelong premiership 2022 beer cans and they interviewed Smith and straight away mentioned that he would love to win another flag, but clubs like RICHMOND just added Tarranto and Hopper,

F* them they need to be investigated for their salary cap shenanigans that are alleged.
