How much did they pay for Jeremy Cameron?

4 touches and 2 goals in a prelim. I'd be feeling very short changed if I was a Geelong Supporter right now. The reason for bringing him in was to have a last roll of the dice before the others get too old. Shiesenhausen.

And where does that leave our draft pick?
Are they finishing 4th or 3rd for this year?

Given the 2 eliminated teams are placed in ladder order, if the Dogs win tm night we get 15, port win 16. So we have another reason to cheer against Port!

Just watched the presser.

Boy oh boy.

I have never, ever seen such an arrogant, dismissive, ungracious press conference.

Starts off with his own spiel to show his utter disdain for the press gallery, then warns that his answers will be “short”.

Spends 4-5 minutes claiming his players were injured whilst simultaneously claiming not to be saying it. The dark art of double-speak he has learned to wield like a weapon.

Refuses to answer tactical or personnel questions on the grounds that “it isn’t the right time”, even though this is the industry’s last official access to the club for season 2021. Funny about that.

Constantly refers to 2010 as if his team is about to embark on a premiership year in 2022. A bizarre narrative most likely designed to remind the world that he is a premiership coach.

Almost flips his lid at someone with the temerity to open a door to his left.

Speaks over Tom Browne and is barely able to growl an answer through his disgust.

Claims he isn’t thinking about himself but is so painfully unable to take a smidgeon of responsibility for yet another poor finals showing.

All up, an exercise in crushing, suffocating vanity and barely concealed contempt for media and fans alike.

Stranger than last year’s GF presser if that is possible.

It can’t be healthy to be that far up your own ass. It just can’t.

And an extremely poor reflection on an industry that lauds and fawns over superego coaches to the point where press conferences are merely exercises in avoiding the egg shells.

Never seen a coach in denial.Media got no.balls to ask him about his finals record and pensioners crew who go missing in big games. According to him we run out of steam last 6 weeks.

Only watching Salty's post game presser would be as good as watching the Cats get absolutely pole axed - but it is no where to be found on the AFL site! Of course they are typically well and truly up by now and the Dees presser is up Jesus, both this clown and that crap club are protected species.
