It's amusing, albeit somewhat depressing, to read the forum at the moment. We all know that every player is tradable at the right price but some people seem to be suffering from a syndrome that makes them think other club's players are perfection personified while Richmond have nothing but du specials from the Not Quite Right Shop.
The first symptom of the tgigotosofs is thinking we can get rid of players that people think are of no benefit to us and get a champion from another club in return.
The second symptom is wanting to trade our best players for a speculative pick in the draft.
The third symptom is the perception that if a player comes from another club they won't have any faults.
The fourth symptom is expecting absolute perfection from Richmond players, when in reality the perfect footballer is just a myth, and not something every other club except Richmond has.
The fifth symptom is suckedinbythehyperitis that gives a belief that if a player goes top 10 in the draft he'll be better than any player on our list.
The antidote is to sit back and relax and let things unfold in their own good time. An injection of belief in our future, our players and our coaches will help those with a bad case.
The grass isn't necessarily greener on the other side of the fence.
