Does anyone remember the man behind the goals who entertained for years and years during reserves games. I have fond memories of going to the G, sitting behind the goals at the pre (of course). He was in his fifties, wore thick black glasses and always kept the crowd laughing with his wit and humour. The really great thing was he never swore, but was capable of bucketing opposition players and the umpire like nobody I've ever heard. I know this sounds vague, but if you are an old punt road ender, in the true sense, you would remember the voice that would echo aroud the G. He used to get a crowd of regulars around him all the time. Can anyone remember?
