With Sheedy declaring his hand to coach the Tigers then withdrawing it and recent articles about the number of people who have applied for the role, coaches who have yet to be signed, etc etc.
What i want to know from people here is how important is a win or a spirited showing against a side who is also looking for a coach.?
Rumour has it that Buckley has the Roos job if he wants it. Apparently he has a pick of four clubs to go to and if what we read is true , he doesnt consider us an option. Believes their list is better than ours.
Wasnt this the same Buckley that said a month ago that our list was better. Wasnt it also the same thing said by Leigh Matthews.
Now with Walls also going on the attack and saying our list is poor and Buckley would be better going for the Roos job.?
Do you believe that coaching the Tigers will be viewed by many applicants when it gets further down the process stage "as too hard basket". ? I know it has been reported that 15 have applied , who are the names?
If we lose against the Roos(big margin) could that seal our fate and could cause some to withdraw their application for the position.?
On the other hand if our young kids put in a very good showing, possibly another player debuts could that sway a coach who has applied but sees our list , club, culture too much of a risk, be swayed on the back of a very good effort this Sunday?.
I know i may be just paranoid or looking at reasons why we may not get a coach we would like, but i just want to know how others see this game and events unfolding.
