Over the last three years, Richmond has done 1 deal per year, each year 1 tall player recruited cheaply
Simmonds for Fiora straight swap (actually a three way swap but not relevant)
P.Bowden for 4th round pick and his wages paid for a year. (we weren't going to use the pick as we had no money
)
Polak for downgrade of two picks.
It is starting to look like a strategy, draft smaller players, recruit talls. Maybe it is just to save money since talls take so long to develop.
