Mckenna would be nice, but I'd be surprised if he'd leave a plum role like he has at the minute. Get paid a bucket load, have no media scrutiny, have plenty of money to spend...AND

Surely he would be the front runner to take the senior gig at GC given that by the time GC are ready to play he will have developed and been a key player in the formulation of the list.

Though I'll happily take Richardson as an assistant, him and McRae would go nicely together when it comes to player development. ;D

You may be right, there may be demand with no supply, who knows?

The one thing I’m picking up is the net is being cast far and wide.

Good, hopefully the net being cast far and wide will attract the right person. Won't hurt RFC to look outside football either like Cricket Australia did with John Buchanan.
 
Hardwick, McKenna, Richardson and Cameron aren't a bad start at all. If all these guys genuinely wanted the job and we chose (hopefully correctly) whomever scrubbed up best then we'll have done ok. Throw Campbell into the mix for the experience.

We're dreaming if we think we'll get any of these guys as an assistant coach. Andy Collins as an assistant to go with Campbell?
